Traditional or modern? High-end or micro budget? Here or abroad? Marvel or DC? Whatever your wedding wishes, you'll need a capable, creative & insightful Celebrant for your ceremony. Ta-daaaa!

Why should we choose you to be our Celebrant?

Good question. And one you should ask of any Celebrant you're considering. To begin with, I have 27 years professional performing experience (feel free to Google my name) including public speaking, presentation, communications, creativity, insightfulness, and an eye for either the fantastically theatrical or the beautifully understated and everything in between. I am open-minded, a hopeless romantic, have plenty of passion and I LOVE to celebrate love. Did I miss anything?

Shouldn't a ceremony be simple and short? We don't want to bore our guests.

You won't bore them if you fill your ceremony with beautiful, personal touches. It's an embarrassment of riches when it comes to elements you can bring to your ceremony whilst keeping things either short and sweet or epic and entertaining. As a Celebrant my primary job is to ensure that you have the wedding of your dreams.

We're still not sure. How can you sway us?

All that's left for me to say is that, I consider myself an open minded and openhearted human 3D printer into which you input your dreams for a beautiful wedding ceremony and I help bring them to life. As they say, the only limit is your imagination.

Have you trained?

I have indeed. With the Institute pf Professional Celebrants and Jennifer Claire's CSA.

Are you insured?

Fully, against all liabilities, and can show you that policy upon request.

What happens if you're ill on the day?

In the past, I would have said short of being in hospital I'd be there but with Covid I understand there's added concern surrounding even turning up ill. I have a circle of fellow professional and trusted Celebrants who I can call upon and will happily jump in. Upon your approval, of course. You WON'T be left Celebrant-less!

Are your rates negotiable ie for micro weddings?

I'm only too willing to discuss different rates. In this day and age I think flexibility is the key. I wan t to work and you want to get married!

Will you require a deposit?

Yes. A polite request for a 50% to book in the date and assure me of your intentions. The remainder shall be settled as 25% upon completion of the draft service (provided you are happy with it of course and you will get unlimited amendments) with the remaining 25% to be settled one month before the wedding.

What if we need to reschedule or postpone?

I know plans are precarious at the moment so all I ask is that you keep me in the loop and let me know of any changes as soon as possible so that we can work around things. I'm extraordinarily reasonable and want to make sure everyone is happy with the outcome.

Book Norman! He brings such energy to your day and from beginning to end he's there for you and willing to go with the flow - especially when we kept changing our minds about what we wanted :) Everyone at the wedding said the service was brilliant. Five stars!!

We can't recommend Norman highly enough. You get the feeling nothing is too much for him and he had some wonderful ideas for the day including a a Quaich ceremony (my husband Greg is from Scotland). We'll be using him for our vow renewals in 10 years time!
