FAQS
How long does it take?
The drying of a fresh bouquet takes between 2 and 4 weeks. The resin preservation process then varies depending on your order. I aim to get all orders finished and ready for collection/delivery within 20 weeks - but don’t worry, I update you as I go!
How do I get my flowers to you?
If you are local to Northampton - dropping them off to me in person as close to the event day will ensure the flowers are as fresh as possible, leading to the best outcome of your preservation. However, I do take bookings from anywhere within the UK, so if you need to post your flowers to me - I can give you a detailed document on how to package and post your blooms to me in the safest way possible.
How do I book?
Send me a message on any form of social media, or email, or give me a call to discuss your order. Once we have discussed delivery date of your bouquet, and your order details - I will issue an invoice to you. Once the 50% deposit is paid, you are officially booked in!
Will my flowers last forever in resin?
I am currently using the best deep pour resin on the market for flower preservation, and along with the years of experience and research I have under my belt - your flowers are in very safe hands. Whilst this gives your flowers the best chance of being everlasting, regardless of what any resin artist may claim, your flowers will deteriorate over time. Whether that’s 1 year, or 10 years will depend on how you treat your preservation. All resin will yellow over time, but the flowers should stay intact. Care cards are provided for all preservations, to ensure you get the most from your order.
Does it damage my flowers?
Whilst the drying and preservation process will not damage your flowers - it is worth keeping in mind that some flowers will slightly alter in colour after being dried. For example, white flowers normally dry with a cream colour, and red flowers (roses in particular) often dry a much deeper/darker red. Some flowers can bruise, from all the love they’ll receive on your big day/postage - and this can (in some cases) lead the petals to go transparent in resin. Unfortunately these are both things I cannot alter or change either before or after drying, and is completely normal.
