What is the Telephone Guest Book?

It's the perfect way to capture the memories from the best day of your life! Picture this; you’ve got all of your drunken mates at your Wedding or Birthday Party, recounting stories of the trouble you used to get up to in the good ol’ days… then you’ve got your relatives telling you how much they love you, and how proud they are to see how much you’ve achieved. And you think. WOW! I wish I could bottle this. I wish I could hear all this back when the craziness settles. Well, now you can. It’s the perfect way to keep the memories of your event alive, and it also gives you something fun to listen back to long after the event is over, any time you’d like. Plus, not only is this new spin on an event guestbook interactive and engaging for your guests, but the classic rotary phone design also makes for a great conversation piece and decoration. So, if you’re looking for a unique guest book idea that will really wow your guests, the Telephone Guest Book is the way to go!

How does the Telephone Guest Book work?

We've put the below step-by-step guide below, but feel free to drop us a message and ask about any burning questions or queries you may have (yes - our TGB comes with signage to direct your guests on what to do!)... 1. The couple send us a ‘host message a couple of weeks out from the big day, which is an mp3 / mp4 file recording that they’d like the telephone to play back to their guests 2. We bring the phone on the day & set it up (if local), our have it couriered out to arrive at least 2 days before the wedding date (it is then free-posted back to us within 3 days of the wedding date). 3. On the day guests will then listen to the host message, wait for the beep, leave a message, and then simply hang up. All messages are saved automatically on the telephone when the handset is placed down correctly. 4. If local, we will come and collect the telephone that evening, and if non-local, it will need to be free-posted back to us within 3 days of the wedding date. 5. The files are then processed through our software to remove as much background as possible, loaded onto a bespoke-made personalised USB, and posted out securely to you with file encryption & recorded delivery.

What are the main things to consider with the Telephone Guest Book?

We’ve got just two BIG things for you to consider… 1. Please ensure that the phone is placed in as quite of an area as possible. This ensures that the recording quality is as high as possible, as well as allowing your guests to have the privacy to say the things that are on their mind. 2. Please instruct at least one responsible person to be your ‘Telephone Guest Book Custodian’ (this could be one of your family, groomsmen, bridesmaids etc… somebody you trust not to forget!). This will be the person / people that drive your guests towards the phone throughout the day & evening, to ensure you get loads of great recordings.

Can we add extras to our Package?

Of course! We've got day hire rates & package-included rates for our Telephone Guest Book, Retro Arcade Machines and Rustic LED 'LOVE' Letters. We also offer additional prints, additional hours and extra guestbooks with our Photobooth Packages. Please enquire for more details!

Do you charge for travel?

We offer free travel within 20miles of our depot (right next to Cheshire Oaks), and then it's £2 per mile above the 20mile threshold.

Awesome, novel and on-trend, the best way these days to leave a personal message and greeting.... using your voice! Such a great set up and current piece of kit supplied by The Booth That Rocks. We had so much fun doing it, it was a blast. And then being able, just a short while later post-event, to listen to all the messages left, it was hilarious!
