Can we bring our own alcohol

Yes of course. We do not charge you any corkage fees and are welcome to bring drinks for your entire wedding if thats what you choose to do.

What are my catering options

We are extremely flexible on catering at Wilkswood. Whether you are looking for a seated plated meal or an informal BBQ set up, we have plenty of options to accommodate your vision. Please speak to a member of the team for more catering options . You are more than welcome to bring in your own caterers and should you have your own preference, please refer to the terms and conditions as there are some guidelines that need to be followed in order to meet the required standards. You will have complimentary use of a 6m x 6m catering tent for your preferred caterers to prepare and cook your desired menu.

What about music? Can we have live music and until what time?

Of course! You are able to have live music or a DJ at the venue. Why not think about a string quartet or an acoustic duo or something for your ceremony and drinks reception too – it works so well at Wilkswood. We only ask that at midnight the music whatever kind you have then goes down to a background level. This means that a live band or DJ or any amplified music would need to finish at midnight. Whilst we don’t have neighbours particularly close to us live music will carry and we don’t want to upset people across the Purbecks! You are welcome to have your own background music from an iPod etc playing after the amplified music finishes eg if you are staying overnight and wish to have music on and enjoy a few drinks with campers into the early hours but if you could keep it to background level this makes us very happy!

Can you help us plan our whole wedding?

Yes, we can. Your package at Wilkswood includes having a wedding planner from South Coast Events, from the time you enquire to the big day one of team will be available.

Do you have parking at the venue

Yes, we enough parking for everyone who attends so no need to worry about that.
