FAQS
Do you charge for travel?
I charge a mileage fee of 45p per mile outside a 50 mile radius of my home in Weymouth, Dorset. Any weddings which require 2.5 hours of driving may require an additional fee of £150 to allow for overnight accommodation (unless I have friends or family in the area I am able to stay with).
What is your sustainability philosophy?
I have built my little business with sustainability at its core; I only buy used camera equipment, my base packages don't come with any physical products to save on production emissions and waste, I donate a portion of my profits to climate change law charity ClientEarth and I vet any suppliers I work with to ensure their ethos matches my own.
Do we need to feed you?
I do not expect my clients to provide me with a meal on their wedding day. If you do decide to provide me with a meal then I would be massively grateful but, having planned my own wedding, I know the costs involved in feeding a crowd so please don't feel obliged to provide me with grub when I can bring my own!
Do you photograph weddings in foreign countries?
As part of my sustainable photography ethos, I do not accept wedding photography jobs requiring air travel. The carbon footprint is simply too great to justify when there are fantastic wedding photographers to hire all over the globe!
How much do you charge?
I have hourly packages for £220 per hour (with a 2 hour minimum hire). I also have a half-day package for £1,050 (up to 5 hours coverage) and finally there's the full-day package at £1,550 (up to 10 hour coverage). There are optional extras I offer such as a second-shooter and printed albums, the prices of which are covered in my price guide.
