Pennyhill Park Hotel & Spa

Pennyhill Park was the last venue we saw after visiting 4 other lovely places. As we drove down the beautiful tree and flower lined driveway, Scott looked at me and saw me grinning as he knows how much I love a dramatic entrance! We were shown around the venue by the lovely weddings team who were so helpful and knowledgable. The Pavillion was one of the standout features that I’d seen so was keen to see this in person. There was a wedding on while we were there so we were very discreetly shown while the ceremony was happening. A perfect backdrop to a summer wedding I thought! We were then shown the other function spaces and some rooms where we got a view of the spa area. I imagined us relaxing there before and after the wedding. As we left Scott glanced at me again and said, this is the one isn’t it, as he could read my mind.

Pennyhill Park is such a stunning venue, from the moment you walk through the covered walkway to reception you know the venue is special. The exterior of the main building is beautiful. The interiors of the venue is pristine and well maintained. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff at Pennyhill Park. They all went above and beyond their roles and provided so much help, advice, support and guidance in the planning stages, on the day and throughout the whole wedding weekend. Customer service and attention to detail was second to none. The operations on the day was flawless. The food served at our menu tasting, throughout our wedding and the breakfast served the following day was faultless and received so many compliments from our guests. The venue space was perfect size for our wedding party of 110 guests. The library and Balmoral Suite had plenty of space and were beautifully laid out. The wedding team at PHP liaised with our suppliers directly to figure out finer details, this was really appreciated, unexpected and took a lot of extra pressure off of us. The venue accommodated to all our requests to make the day perfect.

What do we love about Pennyhill Park? It’s wow factor! It is a truly incredible place, in a stunning setting with beautiful backdrops for photos. Jacks family have been visiting PH regularly for over 15 years, but we never thought we would actually get married in such a perfect place when I jokingly mentioned that was my plan to his family in the spa outdoor hot tub after we had only been dating less than a year.... 7 years later and the dream came true!

The atmosphere really struck us when we visited. It is so relaxed and friendly and every time we have visited we have always found ourselves staying longer than we expected. The children love it too (I also have an 11 year old and an 8 year old), when we brought them to have a look they insisted we hold the wedding there

I really do not know where to start. The day was completely perfect. We are so sad its all over but so thankful we have all the little details to remember forever! and now looking forward to getting booked up for our 1 year anniversary ???? Every detail was exactly what we had planned for the day and executed to perfection by you and the team. We have had untold amount of comments from all our guests on how friendly, professional and attentive the team were so please pass on our thanks! Please extend a special thank you to Kapil who was fantastic too. Considering he and I only had a short amount of time together, he ran the day amazingly and exactly as we had hoped. The Terrence wing was truly amazing and really was the final perfect detail. So thank you again for making the move possible. Your help during the morning was amazing too. You gave me a sense of calm every time you came into the room to see how everything was. I knew everything was in safe hands with you. I really cannot thank you enough for taking on board all my 100s of emails, phone calls, spreadsheets... everything. You really took every comment and made everything perfect. We really did have the most amazing day and we will be forever grateful for you making that possible, so thank you Maddy. We look forward to seeing you next year, if not before.
