Inspiration

Get your glad rags on and join us at this vibrant bash in Liverpool, with white bridesmaid dresses, a bridal two-piece and Tilly Thomas Lix bridal crown. This wedding oozes so much style, I don't even know where to begin, the bright wedding signs and stationery provides pops of bright colours as the happy couple and their guests enjoyed burgers and fries nestled amongst the tropical foliage in Sefton Park Palm House. As the evening went on, the party got started and the couple surprised everyone with a Daft Punk tribute act - a sure way to fill the dancefloor! And in case the guests were peckish from all the dancing, a waffle truck was on hand!

What Made Our Day Unique

For us, our guests and our venue made our day so unique and special. Sefton Park Palm House is absolutely beautiful and we would recommend it to anyone. It’s perfect for weddings because it feels so grand yet intimate. Every photo looks impressive because the ceilings are so high and it's completely filled with beautiful tropical plants and flowers. All of that meant we didn't have to worry or even think about dressing the venue, we didn't add anything (well, apart from a glitter station, cigar bar and photo booth!). The venue was pretty much perfect as it was - our guests couldn't stop commenting on it on the day and afterwards. Oh, and it doesn’t rely on having good weather because it's all sheltered with an outsidey feel.

White Bridesmaid Dresses

The bride looked chic in a bridal two piece from Halfpenny London with ruffle sleeves next to her bridal party who wore mismatched white bridesmaid dresses that they had chose themselves, complimenting each other perfectly along with the relaxed, fun vibes of the day. They all, including the bride, wore bright shoes to bring even more personality to their outfits! And we can't not mention the groom and his groomsmen who looked equally splendid in their attire!

Inspiration & Styling

We wanted the whole thing to be fun. We didn't want it to be too sophisticated or stuffy, because that's not us. We didn't choose a traditional venue for that reason, and we tried to make sure we threw a proper party in the evening. We wanted things to be unexpected for our guests on the day because we felt that would give the whole thing a sense of fun. For example, we ate burgers and truffle fries with pistachio milkshakes. We had scratch cards as favours. We had a Daft Punk tribute band surprise our guests. My bridesmaids wore white with colourful shoes. And later we had a surprise waffle truck arrive serving sweet and savoury waffles for our guests.

Our couple fell in love with their wedding venue before they even knew where it was, and we don't blame them, the beautiful glass house venue speaks for itself!
