Inspiration & Styling
We started out intending to do something very low key and wanted to make it as easy as possible for our guests to come without travelling huge distances or spending an arm and a leg. As soon as we went to see Wilton's though, the low key thing went out the window - the ceremony itself had to be conducted with us on the stage! But the building is so old and atmospheric that it ultimately spoke for itself - we had some foliage, dried flowers here and there but the lighting did much of the work and really it needed very little styling.
Wilton's Music Hall Wedding
Wilton's is the oldest music hall in England and full of its own unique history, so it didn't need much decoration adding to it. Lucy and James just focussed on filling it with friends, family and love. They also enlisted the help of vocalist Rebecca Shelley who sang One Of Us Cannot Be Wrong as Lucy walked down the aisle. She also sang during and after their wedding ceremony. I bet her voice and the acoustics sounded absolutely amazing in the hall.Wedding Suppliers
We knew we wanted Salon to deal with the catering. After we got that sorted, we spent a long time looking online for various suppliers, and it was hard not to get buried in all the options out there. Websites like Rock My Wedding and their supplier directory The List were really helpful for finding our photographer, DJ, etc. We absolutely loved everyone that we've listed here and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for live music, flowers, photographers, DJ and anyone else we've provided details for.
