Victoria Swan, Managing Director, says: “The new style is very fresh and clean which is the perfect base to show-off beautiful imagery. Of course, that also meant we have planned more photo shoots in the last 6 months than we have in years!”

Fronting their main costume jewellery and hair accessory pages, the brief for this glossy shoot was simple; feminine and perfume ad worthy to reflect the high-end luxurious feel of their new site. Victoria continues: “We had it in our minds that we wanted to shoot in a venue with pink décor which proved to be a challenge. I really wanted to work with talented photographer Emma of Griffin Photography because her work tells a wonderful story and luckily, after speaking with Emma, she suggested the gorgeous bridal suite at Trereife House in Cornwall which was just perfect!”
Rather than opting for a traditional bridal look, the team went for a glamorous vintage style with a subtle Bardot vibe aimed at the more fashion-led bride. Sparkly, figure-skimming gowns in blush hues by Eliza Jane Howell carried through the pink colour scheme with was emphasised further with an abundance of ultra-pretty rose arrangements by Anna’s Flower Barn.
Victoria adds: “This shoot turned out to be one of my favourites – glamorous and a little edgy. The story was built around a bride getting ready for her big day but I think it lends itself to a woman preparing for a romantic date too. There was a lot of pink and I’m sure the team must have wondered if I’d lost my marbles at times but I’m thrilled with romantic, soft aura it created.”
I now want to spend all day sat in front of the prettiest dressing table to try and recreate this beautiful scene! And don’t forget to leave your favourite Glitzy Secrets pieces in the comments below to be in with a chance of winning.
