What Made Our Day Unique
We started the day with everyone arriving into the song peaches and cream and a variety of other 90s RNB classics. No Romantic music here. Kiylee and I decided to do our own vows which made it really special. Our vows were heartfelt but also funny and relevant to how everyone knows us. The theme for the day was a tropical Christmas. (all tropical, zero Christmas apart from it being in December. We wanted it to be a day to remember so decided to go slightly over the top with all the decorations. There were 4 sets of speeches ( including the bride who smashed it) and we were all about everyone having a good time. Our first dance song was by Rudimental so we didn't slow dance and just bounced around instead. Once the party started the dance floor was never empty from start to finish.
Winter Wedding Cover Ups
There's no denying Bride Kiylee and her best girls are completely stealing the show in their lace and sequin dresses with faux fur and ostrich feather winter wedding cover-ups. Bride Kiylee even took the mic and gave a wedding speech, which we have to commend her for. SO many more brides are deciding to give a speech now and if you're one of these ladies give our latest Podcast a listen about giving the perfect Brides Speech.Inspiration & Styling
The vibe was relaxed but..... "GET READY FOR THE PARTY"! Our friends know us for our "eclectic" sense of style and our love for a good party so we felt it was important our wedding reflected that. Kiylee and I have a quirky sense of style and we wanted the wedding to resemble our house which is full of huge plants, cactus's, succulents and miss matching ornaments in golds, brass, copper. Essentially we both like different things that are equally random but once you throw everything together it kind of works.
