This wedding is a vision of Autumnal colours (even though it was a summer celebration!) from the yellow bridesmaid dresses to the groom's foxy red dinner jacket! Arriving at the church the wedding party were greeted by a stunning display of flowers followed by trees lining the aisle. This foliage decor was carried through to the beautiful reception and foliage centrepieces stood tall on the tables. Topped off by an amazing cake (which was mistaken for an art installation numerous times!), fabulous food, a band that kept everyone dancing (you can find the exact band via entertainment nation - one of our Recommended suppliers) and a sensational firework display, this wedding definitely went off with a bang!

WHAT MADE OUR DAY UNIQUE

"From the beginning, when planning our wedding, although we were having a traditional, English, Church wedding we both wanted the details to feel special, and unique to us. From Pierre's outfit- a Fox coloured Tuxedo, to the setting, the flowers, the readings in the ceremony, the cake, and our wedding rings which were made by Issy- Sister to one of the best men; We really wanted the day to feel special, and unique to us. By not having a theme it allowed us to choose things based on what we loved the most and not worry too much about matching everything together. Our wedding cake sort of epitomised this and more than one of our guests have since told us they thought they were looking at an art installation in the entrance hall rather than the cake!- It also tasted just as amazing as it looked, confirmed by the fact we had none left to take away with us. Yellow Bridesmaid Dresses

The stunning yellow bridesmaid dresses perfectly complemented not only the decor and vibes of the day itself, but also the gorgeous bride in her bespoke Bowen Dryden wedding dress. Having struggled to find 'The One' when searching for her dress, Charlotte decided to get creative and having found a designer she loved, it was just about finding the style and detail of dress she also loved! And together they absolutely nailed it, with the addition of the bridal cape this dress is just everything!

 

INSPIRATION & STYLING

"Endsleigh is such a beautiful house in a breathtaking setting and we really wanted to mirror the feel of the house and gardens throughout the rest of the day. We wanted the day to have an ethereal, magical, timeless feel. I didn't have a colour theme as such, but knew I wanted something a bit different with a mixture of flowers in muted, off shades; incorporating the mustard colour of the bridesmaids dresses which I had fallen in love with. I loved the idea of using trees in the Church and large stems of foliage on the tables. As soon as we sat down with Amanda who does the flowers for the hotel each week I knew we were on the same page, and as we sat together getting more and more excited with all of our ideas -assymetrical flower arches, hand dyed ribbons, cloches with tiny fairy lights and eucalyptus trailing along the tables Pierre sat looking on with more and more panic!" - Charlotte & Pierre
