It all started with a blind date…..falling in love…….a proposal…….and planning a wedding

To begin with I found planning our dream wedding rather confusing, there was so much stuff to chose from and absolutely nothing I really lusted after. So after about 8 months of wrong turns and wrong choices we started from scratch, ignored traditions that didn’t suit our personalities and went ahead with planning a  special, intimate and unique day that was all about love, laughter, friends, family and having a bloomin’ good time ( erm…. in about 4 months) 

I then decided to share my experience as a blog on a wedding forum where lots and lots of lovely future brides said how much they enjoyed my writing and were inspired by my story.

Was totally flattered and loved every minute of this blogging lark so thought why not carry on? Why not create a place for idea’s and where real life wedding experiences can be shared?

And let’s be honest, what girl doesn’t want to admire and write about beautiful things all day….

I certainly do.

The Facts of Wife

Although this site is mainly about weddings we all need a little bit of a break from the bubble sometimes… so here you will find all things wifey, from baking(!) to decorating to what’s hot in the shops.
