Olivia & James

Olivia and James’ wedding at Hazel Gap Barn in Nottinghamshire is beautiful with blush pink bridesmaids, 4 four best men, bridal portraits in a bluebell wood, and a gorgeous sparkler exit to end the day!

Blush Pink & Copper remains such a popular colour scheme as you can really run with it as little or as much as you fancy. I think this couple worked with the scheme in a really delicate subtle way and let’s be fair Hazel Gap Barn would suit anything!

Hazel Gap Barn is a member of our exclusive handpicked directory, solely curated for the RMW bride, The List and it’s a real treat for us to see it on our pages.

Of course the bride is shining in an ever elegant Mikaella Gown from Clifton Brides and the day is captured by Pear and Bear Photography.

You will be be surprised to see that Joanna opted for her wedding to be a no flower zone! Yep, apart from Joanna’s flower crown and groom Samir’s button hole there isn’t a lavish instalment in sight. This beautiful pair went for a British tweed countryside wedding complete with Vintage Fun Fair! I know!!!!! In real life! It’s amazing and more.

Marleybrook House is a truly special venue, completely unassuming, aside from it’s stunning  pillar box style but the garden is complete with 20m high Sky Dancer Big Wheel!!!

Zoe & Ben

An Ecologist want’s to get married where? Outside of course! Zoe, our outdoor loving, Ecologist Bride, had always dreamed of getting married outside, surrounded by nature in all it’s glory.

Ever After, The Dartmoor Wedding Venue, Devon was to become the perfect venue! With it’s stunning Orchard for a Humanist Ceremony, beautiful buildings for a wet weather plan and the most helpful staff and owners.

As perfect as this wedding looks and was, the road leading up to it was rather bumpy. First losing their original florist, then six weeks before the big day they lost their photographer! GASP!!!! Can you imagine? They did strike gold though when by chance Lucy Turnbull was available to step in and couldn’t have captured a prettier day.

There are some brave colours popping out in this Tropical wedding that work so well with the couples theme. Reds, burnt oranges and deep rich purples are pure joy.

Fairytale Opulence at Charlton House, Somerset

A beautiful inspiration piece here to get your heart eyes locked on to.  “Fairytale Opulence. This one is for the dreamers and the hopeless romantics.” describes Fine Art Photographer Liz Baker of this wedding. It truly is fairytale like in colours and indulgence.

Charlton House, Somerset is a stunning venue with grand rooms and decadent decor.  Luxe Florist Fleur Provocateur highlights and enhances the venue with her spectacular florals and the table display is one that Pinterest dreams were made of.

There are lessons in this piece to be learnt in using your venues features to their maximum potential. If they have mantles, fireplaces and such, adorn them with florals. Intimate table dressings can be as elaborate as you want and where possible use the colour scheme of your wedding to compliment that of your venue. The chairs at the table here make my heart sing.
