We’re treating you to a double whammy of talent today in the form of RMW recommended suppliers Darek Smietana Photography and Ben Walton Films, whose captures of this destination wedding at Chateau de Lartigolle in France are soo dreamy! Basked in glorious sunshine, and full of foliage, Lydia & Anogie’s outdoor reception will have you clingy onto the last days of Summer with all your might.
The oh so chic Chateau Lartigolle is instantly recognisable with its gorgeous courtyard and arched cellar, and made the ultimate party venue for our stylish bride and groom today.
Their celebrations started on Friday and continued through to Sunday, with nothing being too much trouble for the planning team to ensure Sophie & Alex’s wedding dreams came true. Owner Emma even turned her hand to floristry, making the immense pastel bouquet you see in the opening picture and the gorgeous garland framing the nuptials.
Every capture by Nigel Johh tells the beautiful story of this adorable couples destination wedding. From he golden light, to Bride Sophie’s exquisite lace Caroline Castigliano gown, you are going to be mesmerised.
We have been snowed in, we have run out of food and patience with loved ones. We can’t remember what Summer looks like. Well, relax, unwind and sink yourself into this frankly bloody gorgeous wedding!
Destination photographer Derek Smietana always deliver and this is a total gem.
This ‘home’ wedding, we should be so lucky, is set in South West France in the Brides incredibly pretty and super cool family home, and longtime love of Rock My Wedding’s Chateau de Lartigolle.
Bride Jess looks sensational in gold Amanda Wakeley and the outdoor dining is fairy lit heaven.
The delicate pastel colour scheme of this destination wedding, combined with the rustic decor and stunning French Chateau de Lartigolle as the backdrop make this one incredible outdoor wedding.
I love the mis-match cool mint bridesmaid gowns from the highstreet teamed with blush pink blooms and eucalyptus, and I couldn’t agree more with bride Jen when she says not to rule out any dresses, as the designs you think you won’t like could in fact turn out to be the one! Just like Jen’s breathtaking Jesús Peiró 3000 gown.
Now just before you whiz off to book a traditional French countryside retreat (because believe me you’ll want to), sit back relax and enjoy every last image from the super talented Petar Jurica.
Today’s wedding is extra special as gorgeous Bride Rachel is one of our The List members. Her company Another Story Studio offer the most amazing selection of stylish props to hire for your own big day, so as you can imagine her rustic French wedding day is rather epic…just wait until you see the hand poured candle favours, magical ceremony cave and beautiful table styling (possibly my favourite place settings ever?!)
Along with their friends and family, Rachel and Ollie took over the incredible Chateau de Lartigolle for a whole weekend, filling it with good food, good wine and lots of fun. This wedding captures the essence of a rustic feast, with a sprinkling of classic French elegance and a generous dose of Rachel’s fabulous styling eye.
Images come from Darek Smietana whose work I simply LOVE. He has the most amazing knack for capturing those moments you never even knew were happening…
This elegant, totally timeless wedding from French venue Chateau de Lartigolle is simply stunning. It’s all about classic tailoring, simple seasonal blooms and local food and the result is just magical. Anna’s Pronovias dress fits like a glove and with her hair pinned up, her bone structure looks incredible. Groom Will cuts a handsome figure in his J.Crew suit too, and the pair just look so happy and in love.
The photography from Darek Smietana is gorgeous as well, his images have captured that glowing, soft French light to perfection and we also love the emotions portrayed too. It’s a real pleasure to share this lovely wedding with you all this morning.
You’re probably well aware by now that every single member of the Rock My Wedding team is a sucker for a pretty French wedding at a picturesque Chateau and Lucy and Tim’s big day is no exception.
There are rolling fields, handpicked bouquets, milk churns filled to bursting with blooms, walks in dappled glades, dinner in a French courtyard, a bevy of beautiful maids and kick ass dancing on Moroccan rugs in the moonlight.
Oh and then there’s Tim’s emotional reaction when he sees the beautiful Lucy walking down the aisle towards him. Honestly it is the BEST.
Let’s have a look then…
