Good job stealing someone’s heart is not a crime, because these two police officers are a perfect match. Janey and Rhys’ wedding weekend at the fabulous Fforest Farm in Wales is utterly joyous, with beaming smiles, a beautiful setting and so many brilliant touches; think afternoon tea, confetti cannons and the bride doing the limbo – not to mention a steel band and rum cocktails. Yes, please! Keep an eye out, too, for Janey’s gorgeous lace KatyaKatya gown, which she customises with different coloured slips throughout the day. It complements the relaxed, rustic feel of the day and suits her perfectly.
How’s this for a true farm style wedding, an honorary chicken guest strolling around your outdoor barn ceremony at High House Farm Brewery in Northumberland, making for excellent photo opportunities by Maureen Du Preez.
Even though we adore the chick, the stars of the day were most definitely bride and groom, Helen and Daniel. Helen looks stunning in a vintage lace gown by Katya Katya, bought from one of our favourite boutiques The Case of The Curious Bride. She completes her look with a delicate juliet cap veil on her fabulous auburn hair, and carried a gorgeous died flower bouquet by Artisan Dried Flower Company.
Following the floral theme are the bridesmaids in vibrant flower dresses from ASOS, and another less traditional addition was the burger bar wedding breakfast. I bet that went down a storm with the guests. All in all this is definitely a rustic wedding not to be missed. Enjoy.
If KATYA KATYA aren’t on your bridal radar yet, then they really should be. Their collections are always so unique and true to their brand, instantly recognisable for the soft fabrics, Victoriana style and use of pastel and neutral colours for their underlays. This season, as well as a stellar bridal collection, they also have an occasion wear line and the most beautiful bridesmaids collection too.
I have a feeling that RMW brides and KATYA KATYA are a match made in heaven, so enjoy perusing these beautiful dresses and get an appointment at their Chelsea boutique in your diary…
I love the raw laid back country vibe at Fishley Hall barn, the perfect blank canvas for brides and grooms to put their stamp on their day. And what a stamp the gorgeous Cat & Ewan made. From drying out rosemary, to spray painting tiny animal statues for place settings, they certainly took DIY-ing to the next level. SO much PIN-spiration.
They also hired beautiful persian rugs from the fabulous The Little Lending Company, hung lanterns & fairy lights from the rafters, and added breathtaking berry blooms by Swaffham Flowers. Every corner was full of delicious detail, love and sentiment.
Both Cat & Ewan looked divine in stylish wedding attire by Katya Katya and Ted Baker, with each portrait captured by the fabulous Darina Stoda Photography giving you all the feels. Just wait until you see the ones of them in the corn fields.
I’ve loved this wedding dress from Katya Katya Shehurina ever since I clapped eyes on it’s delicate-lace-pink-underlay loveliness and so it’s SUCH a pleasure to finally blog a real wedding with the Bride wearing it!!! And doesn’t Carly wear it well?
London weddings at Islington town hall always have a really cool vibe and this one is no exception. With a pub reception at The Peasant too, it’s all about good food, good drink and good times. The menu for this wedding day made me salivate. Seriously good grub. As well as being self proclaimed foodies, Carly and Sam are also really into their music and so that was a really crucial component of the day for them too. It sounds like a proper party went down in Clerkenwell on their wedding night…
How beautiful is this wedding?! I’m completely in love with the Midsummer Nights Dream vibe – wild woodland florals, feathers, tweed and lots of blush pink. Tabitha looks gorgeous in Katya Katya Shehurina, who I always associate with free spirited, stylish Brides, one of which Tabitha clearly IS. Also looking rather dapper is Matt, in a pair of Pink Marks & Spencers Chinos! I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again…if your Groom doesn’t want to wear a suit, then he really doesn’t have to. Go with whatever suits you and the style of your wedding day. If this sounds like the kind of wedding advice you want to hear, then maybe you should preorder our soon-to-be-released book Your Day Your Way? Tabitha and Matt certainly did everything their way for their wedding day and it was utterly fabulous. Let’s take a look…
I’ve been looking forward to blogging Becky & James’ big day for a while for lots of reasons – there are cardboard cat cutouts (!) an animal print wedding cake, it’s at Preston Court (epic wedding venue) AND Becky is wearing a gorgeous polka dot gown by one of our favourite designers, Katya Katya Shehurina. Then there’s the coral Bridesmaids dresses, the colourful lanterns adorning the ceiling of their dining room, the carousel and Groom James’ dapper outfit! Honestly, every image by Miki Studios seems to have captured another fabulous detail.
The whole day is full of fun and frolics and it looks like everyone had a lovely time. The couple held a BBQ the following day too, which is a great way to spend some more time with family and friends in a less formal way. Plus, as every Bride will tell you, the day flies past and you never get to spend as much time with people as you’d like. If only wedding days had extra hours…
This is a bold statement – but I *think* this might be my all time favourite inspiration shoot we’ve featured on RMW…I know!!! Big words! It’s just so dreamy though. And Venice is just so magical, you can’t help but be enchanted by it.
Both Bridal looks are stunning, the hair and make up is demure but flirty, the Katya Katya Shehurina dresses are to-die-for with exquisite detailing, the Kelly Spence accessories are divine (that rose gold leaf hair clip – gah!) and the colour palette of pale blues and blush pinks is just so on trend. Oh and I’m loving the tumbling blooms too and the gold accents! Honestly – it’s all so gorgeous, I’m going to stop waffling now and let you enjoy it…
