Bride Emily is a professional ballet dancer currently performing in The Phantom of the Opera, and Groom Dayle is a singer/actor who’s played parts in Les Mis, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and more recently The Jersey Boys. Their wonderful tent wedding took place in the gardens of Great Ote Hall in Sussex where they were blessed by the sun and so much joy. Dayle and his Jersey Boy co-stars put on a special performance for Emily with her reaction to the surprise caught perfectly by Holly Rose Photography, not to heartfelt mention so many more wedding day moments.
Today’s classic country wedding comes from Pimm’s wedding dash winners Jade & Daniel. Who also won an incredible £8,000 towards wedding services from our very own handpicked wedding supplier directory The List. We absolutely love how they chose to spend their winnings. Most noteworthy was choosing The Dawdling Duck so they could provide guests with a FREE bar. Absolute genius! So, we feel that Good Friday should be spent swooning over this country wedding.
Need a reason to smile today? (There’s no place for politics on this blog, but you know what we’re talking about.) Dive right into this Norfolk wedding, which is a whole lot of happiness to finish your week off right. Bride and groom, Emily and Adi, do not stop laughing, from the minute they start getting ready (complete with a bunch of bridesmaids pouring prosecco down Emily’s neck!) to the showdown of their first dance. Little wonder, really, when you’re getting wed at a venue as cool as Voewood, and when you look as gorgeous as Emily does in your long-sleeved Ivania Pronovias wedding dress. From the greys and the golds to the dahlias and the dancing, this wedding is everything we love. And we know you will too.
If ever you need proof that strong colours and pastels work together, this is it. The colours of Jenny and Alex’s wedding day are simply sublime – and even more so set against the backdrop of the rugged Northumbrian landscape. With a truly classic racerback Pronovias gown, stunning wildflowers which feel as though they’ve been picked that morning and the fabulous documentary-style photos from RMW recommended photographer, Georgina Harrison, this Healey Barn countryside wedding is both perfectly classic yet imperfectly rustic all at the same time. Divine.
When you visit the Ravello on the Amalfi Coast in Italy it’s no wonder you want to take it all in and enjoy a three-day celebration.
Catherine Bradfield of The Wedding Boutique literally planned our gorgeous couple the most wonderful wedding with a gorgeous ceremony and reception sandwiched in the middle of the break.
Everybody looks fierce in classic black tie attire, and the sophisticated white, gold and green colour scheme compliments the breathtaking scenery beautifully.
Get ready for your jaw to drop at this real life fairytale wedding, complete with castle venue, dashing groom and princess bride.
French born groom Jerome and Irish bride Aisling were completely and utterly smitten with the gorgeous Chateau Lisse when they saw it, and we can totally see why. Its architecture and grandure were exactly what they wanted personified at their elegant wedding.
You’d be forgiven for thinking this was a styled shoot, everything is so perfectly executed. None more so than the fine art photography captures by Lilli Kad, but family chipped in to help with flowers, and also the incredibly timeless, but super stylish wedding attire.
Prepare to feel all fuzzy inside as Bride and Groom Beth and Paul have a wonderful celebration at Angrove Park in Great Ayron in a PapaKåta tipi. The site looks amazing full of rustic decor and details. My favourite being the boat of booze and the mini wheel barrow table plan.
Everybody looks a vision in lace and tweed, perfect for the outdoor country vibes and the golden hour portrait pictures by Matt Penberthy are off the chart adorable. With SO many more personal touches and fun filled moments to swoon over, you’re going to enjoy this lovely ones.
I always love a good pub wedding, they are such good fun and everyone is clearly having a whale of a time. I mean – they are in a PUB and it’s a wedding – could there be a better combination?! Clare and Richard’s wedding day is no exception, the smiles are just beaming from every face. Clare looks ridiculously elegant in Pronovias, that slinky gown was made for her. The boys look rather dapper too, I’m loving the shots of them having drinks together before the ceremony, it’s a special time for the boys, as well as the girls and deserves to be documented!
Along side the images from Steve Fanstone, we have the film from The Love Lust List members, A Piece Of The Party, so make sure you grab some time to watch it properly – it’ll have you smiling as much as Clare, Richard and all their wedding guests! Enjoy lovely ones, it’s such a heartwarming wedding.
I love how elegantly Alexia & Mark have incorporated both Scottish and Taiwanese influences into their wedding at Errol Park in Perthshire. You can see subtle hints of tartan in the fashion, and the adorable use of the mandarin character 囍’ meaning ‘double happiness’ can be seen on their stationery.
They married in a light-filled dining room, then went onto have their reception in the converted barn, covered in fairy lights, complete with a ceilidh dance to finish off.
Although the above is all utterly dreamy, the absolute highlight of this wedding for me has to be bride Alexia’s Pronovias separates. The frou frou on the skirt is divine, and the picture captured by Jen Owens Images of groom Mark lifting it as she walks downs the steps of Errol Park literally makes my heart swell.
