Jenni & Wolf

I don’t know if it’s the deep pink and blue blooms matching the stain glass windows, the dappled light flooding through, or all the raw emotion on display but this gorgeous city wedding is making my spine tingle. The atmosphere at the Asylum is always electric, but I have to say the way Helen Abrahams Photography has captured our gorgeous couple and their special day seems to have intensified it tenfold.

Bride Jenni’s Lazaro gown is absolutely stunning too, with a beautiful ruffle train and intricate beaded bodice and by her side her sister and best girls in gold and navy gowns complimenting all the stationery and decor flowing throughout the wedding.

The wonderful celebration culminates at Brixton East pub, with even more fabulous details along the way.

Emma & Patrick

I feel like no words can really do justice to Emma and Patrick’s big day better than Emma’s very own…so here you are…

In the end, we felt our wedding was perhaps not as meticulously curated as others but it made us so happy. It felt like the biggest joint birthday party imaginable. There is a reason we are beaming in all of the photos – we were ridiculously happy all day. I would advise others to simply enjoy it. Little things might go wrong, but what really matters – and what weddings are really about –  is marrying your best friend in the presence of those who love you.

Have any truer words ever been spoken?!? Not only does Emma write beautifully, she also rocks a gold sequinned dress like a goddess – enjoy lovely ones, this wedding will most definitely put a smile on your face.

Anthony & Nicholas

Oh I do love a man in tweed, so all the better than when there’s not one but two gorgeous grooms dressed head to toe in the classic look.

Anthony and Nicholas said their ‘I Dos’ in the wonderfully atmospheric venue Asylum before transporting their nearest and dearest in a Gold Regal single-decker to a One Friendly Place to party!

There’s so much to love about this winter wedding, be it the cake toppers (so cute!), the delicious cocktails, the bespoke portraits and the super cool table centres, that I’m off to pin everything. All the action was captured by the very lovely and talented Claire Penn, who comes highly recommended by us.

Francesca & Tony

There is no denying we’re huge fans of The Asylum in London, but what we love most is how each couple put their stamp on the iconic wedding venue.

Francesca & Tony opted for gorgeous jewelled plum & fuchsia pink flowers in gold urns to decorate the chapel and it added to the dramatic setting perfectly. They also chose to have a guitarist sing as Francesca made her grand entrance and once again when they exited as husband and wife. I bet the acoustics were amazing.

This couple and their city wedding are seriously cool and the pictures captured by On Love and Photography will make your spine tingle…..
