Up in the Spanish mountains, we’re in Barcelona wedding venue heaven at aptly named new venue, This Must Be The Place. Think quaint courtyards, rustic charm, and an abundance of personality and potential. Kelsie Low Photography attended the Wild Ones Community workshop where they’ve styled the space with outdoor tablescapes and floral installations, plus enlisted the help of gorgeous models/couple The Bad Villians to show you how you too can enjoy your day there. Anybody else totally in love and feeling all those Spanish vibes? Glad it’s not just me then!
One of London’s hidden gems is definitely Wilton’s Music Hall. If you’ve never seen it before be prepared to be absolutely blown away. It’s covered in fairy lights and laden with history and was the perfect centre stage for Lucy and James’ Winter nuptials. After an emotional ceremony in the main hall, Shutter Go Click took Lucy and James off for some couples portraits, making full use of the exposed walls and mezzanine and even finding time to pop outside for some urban portraits on the streets of London.
Autumn has arrived at this wonderful Errol Park wedding and we’ve been relishing over every last detail. The woodland theme styled by Lemonbox Studios is simply magnificent and complements the exclusive-use venue and estate perfectly. There are cloche’s, fairy lights and spray-painted animals, plus adorable wedding signs and natural flowers aplenty. Not to mention the adorable couple who look magnificent in lace and tartan. The perfect attire and decoration for a Scottish wedding.
We’ve seen many a rolltop bath grace our pages, from a booze bath, to a more specific gin bath, they’ve also been used to hold flowers and now they are being added to verandas at Devon wedding venues. I’m sure our couples and industry friends will go on to find more innovative ways to include them in their wedding decor and details, and we can’t wait to see what you come up with next. But, for now let’s enjoy this pastel pretty wedding by recommended supplier Wild Tide Weddings.
When Kesri and Leesha approached us back in May 2019 to feature their gorgeous Black Brides Matter inspiration shoot we were absolutely over the moon and couldn’t wait to support them. We strive to share as many diverse weddings as we possibly can on Rock My Wedding and so the shoot at The Barn At Drovers was another way for us to do that and spread the message the ladies so eloquently make about the industry needing to better represent minorities. In their words “We cannot dream of a gorgeous wedding no matter the theme, boho/contemporary/elegant/wild/outdoor/romantic wedding if we cannot see ourselves reflected in them.”
We know that their vision is going to have a huge impact on so many people’s wedding planning journeys. Not only are they delivering this powerful message they have done a sterling job at showing us some super sexy inspiration too. WOW ladies, just wow.
Gone are the days of the bog standard PVC marquee wedding. Today’s brides have a myriad of super stylish choices laid before them. Canvas marquees, bell tents, tipis (we have an excellent post full of tipi tips from World Inspired Tents here), yurts, Sperry tents and clear span frame marquees are the main contenders. Although, creative variations are always popping up (ahem). You may be considering a traditional venue with a permanent or hire marquee as part of your wedding package. Or you may be going the whole hog and planning a tent wedding on your own land or land you’ve hired. Either way, this post is LOADED with inspirational images to get those creative ideas flowing. With a marquee or tent wedding, you will truly have the perfect blank canvas.
Dreaming of a tipi wedding? I don’t blame you, there is nothing more atmospheric, striking or magical than tipi weddings. And whatever the weather, tipis create an amazing temporary structure meaning that you can bring your wedding reception to you! But, there are lots of logistics to consider. Which is why we’d always recommend working with an experienced tipi company.
We caught up with Jo from the award winning World Inspired Tents and asked her everything you need to know if you’re planning a tipi wedding. If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask in the comments section and we, along with World Inspired Tents, will be happy to answer!
