How much is a wedding marquee to hire?
We're actually a bit different to a standard marquee hire company, we don't just provide structures. All our marquees come fully lined in hand printed unique styles and are also fully furnished with matching decor and furniture. We like to create the space around you and your wants and needs. All our marquees are modular and can be attached together to form different spaces or 'rooms'. We also really love creating bespoke aspects like furniture and decor (our most recent bespoke creations are a Mandap, Mendhi stage and a disco ball chandelier) So let us know your desires and we can give you a tailored quote. But to help, here is a rough guide of pricing based on guest numbers. This includes a fully furnished marquee structure (floored, lit, lined) with dining chairs and tables, bar, lounge area, dance floor, stage, installation and a catering tent and insurance (not including delivery) Marquee for 100 Guests - £10k Marquee for 150 Guests - £12k Marquee for 200 Guests - £14k Marquee for 300 Guests - £19k
What is the capacity of your marquees?
With a modular design our marquees can be interlinked and used together to create an unlimited amount of space. We could put on an entire festival for you! Individually most of our marquees can hold up to 260 guests, our Oyster Pearl Tent has the capacity for 350 people. Its fun to design a marquee wedding with different 'rooms' (some of which can be hidden for secret areas to be unveiled as a magical surprise for guests later on in the party. We do this by interlinking smaller marquees to the side of a large tent and creating T or X shaped structures for dance floors, bar areas and lounges to create more room within your event, in multiple structures.
What if my garden or venue is sloped or difficult?
We have many different types of marquee for different types of spaces. Most of our frame tents require a level area, but scaffolding can be put in place to level areas that have too much of a slope to them. If the ground is slightly uneven then a hard-flooring upgrade can be used to level out the floor within the marquee. Stretch tents are always a brilliant option for really uneven ground and also for small spaces, they can often be erected in spaces that wouldn't have been possible with a standard marquee. You'd be amazed!
Can the sides of the marquee be opened up?
The walls of our marquees hook on and off very easily. One of the features of the Dana, Lulu and Oyster Pearl tents is their beautiful aesthetic with the walls off, perfect for high summer weddings. We now also have clear span marquees with totally see through walls and ceilings for a 360 degree view of the outdoors whatever the weather or season. Imagine dancing under the moon or stargazing at dinnertime :)
Will the marquee be warm enough?
All our marquees can be heated and we will help and supply the correct heaters. As a general rule if the temperature is due to dip below 15 degrees a heater is a good idea to have on-hand, ours are thermostatically controlled so will come on as needed when the temperature drops below the level you have set it to.
What about adverse weather?
All our marquees are tested at winds of 50 MPH and all are waterproof.
