FAQS
Where can we hold our wedding ceremony?
Almost anywhere your imagination takes you; licensed and unlicensed venues, on the beach, a woodlands, on a boat, a hot air balloon, you just need the owners permission.
Is a celebrant-led ceremony legal?
Currently celebrants in England and Wales aren’t able to legally marry, however couples book an appointment to register their marriage costing around £50 depending on area. This takes around ten minutes to complete and you can go in your everyday clothes and there is no need to exchange rings or personal vows. You can save all the fun parts until your actual wedding day surrounded by family and friends. You are then able to have a personalised ceremony created for you without strict rules and restrictions that matches your style and personalities, bringing some humour and the most beautiful moments to your wedding ceremony.
Can we include our children in the ceremony?
Yes! Absolutely yes and I have lots of ways to do this depending on their age and how you would like to involve them. I would love to hear more about any plans you have and I can guide you where needed.
Can we include a unity ceremony?
Unity ceremonies are a beautiful way to symbolise your lives now blending together. There are many unity ceremonies to choose from. I often share these on my social media pages and we can chat more about the different choices and how they can be incorporated in your ceremony.
