Hester lily makeup artistry

Hester did mine and my bridesmaids make up for my wedding and she blew us away. She is friendly, approachable and we couldn’t have asked for more from her. It was like having a friend with us. Nothing was too much trouble, she listened to what we liked and didn’t like, hid our “problem areas” and most importantly made us feel amazing. From my trial to the wedding day I had complete faith in Hester and I would trust her again to do my make up for any occasion. 10000% recommend if you’re looking for a friendly, reliable and talented make up artist!

I contacted Hester after being let down at the last minute. From start to finish, her communication was fantastic, she really set my mind at ease. She travelled to my home to do the make up trial and nothing was too much trouble. On my wedding day, Hester was punctual, friendly and made everyone feel amazing! I’m so glad I found Hester. Hester recently did my wedding makeup, plus 8 bridesmaids and my mum and from the moment I had my trial to the final touch ups on the day, Hester was wonderful to work with. I LOVED my makeup which was super glowy and all my bridesmaids felt and looked gorgeous - she gave me some amazing recommendations for products to use in the run up to the day which have transformed my skin. Everything from lashes to the contouring lasted ALL day and night (10am to 2am) even through dancing in a very hot room, totally flawless until the last minute - Cannot recommend Hester more!

Hester is simply the best MUA I have ever used, so of course I had to have her work her magic on me and my bridesmaids on my wedding day. We all absolutely loved our make up and I felt incredible on my wedding day thanks to Hester! Hester made each of our make up suitable for each of us, making us all feel utterly fabulous. If I could give Hester a million stars, then I would. After planning my wedding in 12 short weeks, a make up artist was one of the only things left to book a few weeks before. Let’s just say, Hester was literally dropped into my lap at the most perfect time and I genuinely couldn’t be anymore blessed. We crossed paths at a wedding fayre at Cheltenham racecourse, and after approaching her & finding out she was free on my date, I got her to email me a contract straight away as I wanted to book her! Her work was absolutely beautiful and after telling her I didn’t just want your average plain bridal make up, I wanted ‘glam’, her smile told me I’d made the right choice. The trial was absolutely stunning and her professionalism along with her communication, was second to none. I had no doubt I’d made the right choice and was even more excited for the wedding day. On the day, she arrived at the perfect time, set up promptly and started work on my maid of honour, who looked absolutely incredible. Hester is so friendly and so lovely, that it was an honour having her be part of our big day. My make up was honestly out of this world. The magic she created was perfection and suited the theme of the day amazingly. I genuinely cannot recommended her enough.
