Why should I choose a humanist ceremony?
Oh my goodness - so many reasons! Humanist ceremonies are AMAZING. For a start, they are totally bespoke - your script is written from scratch just for you, so no two ceremonies are the same. An accredited humanist celebrant will always be trained to the highest standard, and our ceremonies are joyful, intentional and focused on you lovely people and your unique love. As a non-religious person, you also deserve a personalised ceremony that reflects your own particular beliefs and values. An ‘insert name here’ civil ceremony with Joan from the council just doesn’t cut it!
What is your style?
I write ceremonies that are relaxed, authentic and created with genuine care and affection. I adore hearing all about couples’ stories and how they live and love together. Every journey is different and beautiful in its own way. I love a good geek reference, a singalong, a surprise… and if you are totally smitten you’ll be glad to know I am also an unapologetic romantic, so if you want to go full tilt with the symbolism and the emotion I’m here for it.

Tell us a bit about you...
I’m a very happily married 41-year-old mum to two very active little boys, and every summer (when I’m not writing scripts or marrying lovely humans) you’ll find me dancing in a field at festivals with my family. My 4-year-old has been to Glastonbury twice already! I love great music from many genres, but my greatest love is Prince. I've just begun learning to play the drums and I'm thoroughly enjoying it! I love singing and going to the theatre. Our family goes camping by the sea. I’m very much on the left of politics, and whenever I get the chance (which is rare since becoming a mum) you’ll also find me snowboarding, paddleboarding, or my absolute favourite activity- scuba diving.
