FAQS
How long do you usually stay for?
As long as the party is still going... Being based in Jersey, I usually travel all over the UK photographing weddings. Whilst most photographers might exit after the first dance in order to get home, I like to stay and soak up the atmosphere.
How many images do we get?
There is no limit. An average full day wedding will consist of anything between 600-1000 images. I try my best to capture as many guests as possible, and due to the documentary nature of my style, nothing posed, nothing staged.
Do you do group photographs?
Nowadays, group photographs are more for the parents of the bride and groom than they are for the couple. Gran will definitely want a group photo so there is an element of keeping everyone happy. I find that group photographs are not only a perfect present later down the line, but they also set the stage for intimate interactions between family members old and new.
Do you travel?
Way back in 2019 BC (Before Covid), travel was the easiest thing in the world. With some much uncertainty around travel at the moment, it's hard to say whether this kind of flexibility is possible moving forward. I can't wait for the world to open up again, and so long as there is a healthy amount of time either side of your wedding date, I'm happy to travel wherever you plan on tying the knot. But for now, I think it's safer for everyone to reimagine the traditional wedding closer to home.
