We chose to book with Mike after seeing his work from a friend’s wedding. There was no comparison, the images were mesmerising. We felt it was important that we chose someone who wasn’t focused on ‘posed’ photographs, as this wasn’t something we were both comfortable with. We absolutely adore how natural the photos are and his clever use of light. Book with Mike if you want the most down-to-earth, unassuming, friendly photographer, you’ll probably ever meet- we had so much positive feedback from guests. He’s also more than capable at navigating different situations on the day, as they arise, without compromising the finished product.

Personally we couldn’t of been any happier with how you handled our day. We wanted a discreet, and relaxed approach to our photos which would tell the story of our day through the photos – something we thought you nailed!!

Everyone loves our wedding photographs! Especially us! We love all the little moments that Mike captured, like the best man stroking a cat, Tom laughing in the middle of crying because his auntie told him a joke or Kirsty’s mum trying to Irish dance – All the little moments you want captured for a life time. Mike was a dream to work with and he went above and beyond for us, whether it was reminding us to enjoy the moment and not worry about how our guests would get to the reception venue or making sure Kirsty had a mirror to catch the first glimpse of herself in her wedding dress. Mike struck the perfect balance between blending in behind the scenes and helping us capture the photos we wanted just at the right times. We decided to book Mike as we saw him at work at a friends wedding and he seemed really good, they told us he would be very accommodating to our needs, which he was! We also really liked the style of his photos and knew we wanted that kind of style!

I just wanted to email you and say thank you so much for our bloody amazing photographs! We love them so much, can’t believe how attractive you made us look! You were a star on the day, you made me and Chris feel so at ease, we enjoyed our day so much, and you are a part of why we did, so thank you. A friend of ours has already asked about your details, as she loves your photos so much, and is getting married next year! I passed them on of course. It is a testament to your work, that I completely forgot you were there at some points, as I find it hard to be natural in front of a camera, and I love how you captured the humour of the day, which is what we are all about…I feel like we didn’t stop laughing all day. Anyway, this is going on a bit now, so one more time, thank you, thank you, thank you for your incredible work. I am so chuffed that we have an amazing tangible way to remember the day.

We cannot thank Mike enough for his skills on our day. It was important to us that our photographer wasn’t intrusive and that people felt comfortable around him. We were drawn to Mike’s stand at the Northwest Wedding Show as it stood out from the many other photographers there and after meeting Mike and his lovely husband we knew straight away that he was our guy!
