How many guests can Netherbyres accommodate?

Around 70 for an indoor ceremony and meal. We can accommodate a few more for a party if required.

Does Netherbyres have accommodation?

Yes, we have 9 ensuite bedrooms. Our wedding packages include all of the rooms for either one or two nights.

Where is Netherbyres located?

On the outskirts of Eyemouth, a historic harbour town on the Berwickshire coast. Ideally located within an hour of Edinburgh and a stone's throw from the North of England. We’re just off the A1 if you’re driving, or a 10-minute drive from Berwick-upon-Tweed if coming by train, which is on the East Coast line only 3.5 hours from London.

How does catering work?

We work with external caterers for the wedding meal and we have a few we already work with that we can recommend. If you'd prefer to bring in another caterer, we're OK with that too. We'd just need to have a chat to them about our facilities and how a wedding works at Netherbyres.

Sarah & Mike were brilliant across all three days. We never saw them flapping and actually their calmness was a massive help as it meant we were also nice and chilled! They didn't stop working all day so we were so chuffed when they joined us briefly on the dancefloor. Once the wedding was over, they also led the after-party with the guests staying in the house, which was one of the highlights of the day. They were so much more than 'just' a venue - they were part of the day and we'll always be grateful for that!"

We got married at Netherbyres in late June. It's such an absolutely stunning venue. The decor is beautiful, eclectic and luxe. Speaking of the hosts themselves Sarah and Mike are wonderful. We moved our wedding four times and they were flexible, supportive and accommodating. On the weekend they were the perfect mix of attentive but gave us space to have run of the house as a family for the wedding weekend. If you're looking for a stunning venue with great hosts and attention to detail stop right here! I'm still getting compliments on our wedding photos and guests raving about it.

Wow, what a weekend we had at Netherbyres House. We had our wedding there in June 2021 and it was the best weekend of our lives ???? The entire day was perfect and it was all thanks to Sarah & Mike. We got married at Netherbyres on 16.10.21 and can't imagine getting married anywhere else! Netherbyres has so much personality and is and very different from all the other venues out there. The day itself went so smoothly thanks to Sarah and Mike's coordination, and we loved the little personal touches like offering our favourite cocktail at the bar. There are so many lovely photo opportunities in the house and in the grounds, making it the perfect location for a wedding regardless of the weather. We would absolutely recommend Netherbyres to all other couples in need of a wedding venue!
