Where's the best photo spot at your venue?
It's so hard to pick but we recommend in front of our Grade 1 Listed Manor House with the iron gates or on the steps at the terrace surrounded by all your family and friends.
Do my guests get a discounted rate to stay on the wedding night?
We offer each couple up to 20 bedrooms rooms at a preferential rate. We provide you with a code to share with your family and friends so people can book the rooms. 2024 prices start at £95 for a double room and vary depending on the day of the week and month of the year.
What are my ceremony options at New Place Hotel?
We have 5 amazing spaces that you can use to say your 'I Do's'. If you want to keep things intimate we have our De Laszlo room where up to 40 of your loved ones can join or if you want something bigger we have our Bristol Room for 80 guests and Dining Room which can seat up to 95 guests. All 3 of those ceremony rooms are located in our Grade 1 Listed Manor House - fun fact, it was originally given as a wedding gift from Mrs Franklyn to her son Henry so weddings have been a part of our tradition from the start. Our largest ceremony space is called the Arden Suite which is a private building nestled amongst the grounds and you can have 108 of your loved ones join you for your special day. For the ultimate picture-perfect ceremony, why not get married in our outside garden wooden gazebo? You'll walk down a colourful aisle made up of blossoming flowers in 2 symmetrical flower beds to you're forever person with our Manor House acting as your perfect backdrop. All our ceremony spaces are licensed too - yay!
Where is the wedding breakfast and evening reception held?
After you've said I Do and had your perfect pictures, you'll all head to our Arden Suite which is a private building. It has its own bar and terrace area which are both private to your wedding. You get access from 8 am so it can be transformed and your wedding vision can come to life. We can host up to 110 for the wedding breakfast and then when it's time for the evening reception you can have up to 150 to dance the night away. Your guests won't even notice this building until it's time for the wedding breakfast so no need to worry about anyone seeing your decorations too early.
What are the catering and bar options available?
Our amazingly talented in-house team of chefs can rustle up the perfect menu so no need to organise external suppliers. Why not start with some delectable canapes during your drinks reception, next up is a mouth-watering 3-course wedding breakfast and to finish the night off it's all about the evening buffet. Although we have a wedding menu our chefs can create something bespoke meaning you can personalise your wedding even more! We include some drinks in our wedding package and again can bespoke these. Plus we have 2 full bars that guests will have access to (at different times) should they want their favourite tipple.
