Will we have exclusive use of the venue?
Absolutely! We believe that your experience with us should never feel rushed. You will have exclusive use of the grounds to set up the day before and clear up the day after (we can take care of that for an additional fee).
Can use our own preferred suppliers for catering and the bar?
We have a brilliant caterer, Street Eats Catering Co., who can make you a fully bespoke menu, however we do allow other suppliers. Your bar at Oakfield Gardens will be run by our bar partner "Blossoms Bar". They offer flexible bar options and competitively priced drinks packages, and an option to provide your own table wine and fizz, with a service charge to cover chilling, serving staff, glassware etc.
How many guests can we have?
Our tipis can seat up to 120 people. An additional 75 evening guests are permitted. For larger weddings we may be able to add additional tipis so please get in touch.
What kind of entertainment can we have?
We have great links with both bands and DJs and we are happy to help! However, if you do have your own band or DJ in mind, feel free to book them. It is worth noting that all music should finish by 11:30pm.
How are you different from other venues?
Oakfield Gardens is located at The River School, an independent charity founded in 1985, to give an excellent and rounded education to the next generation. Income from events will enable the school to enhance facilities and reduce fees for many families. Before the school was established, Oakfield Gardens was a horticultural training site, this has been nurtured and maintained ever since. An array of rare trees and flowers encompass the grounds making this a beautiful setting and backdrop for your special day.
