FAQS
What does sustainable florist mean?
We work with seasonal flowers and British flowers during the growing seasons, ensuring the flowers have not travelled miles across the globe. We work with flowers from our own cutting garden and British growers who are local and grow naturally, providing the most unusual and beautiful flowers. We use sustainable and re-useable mechanics (no floral foam here). As our flowers are natural, we compost them after your event, creating a circular economy.
How does the process work?
Olivia oversees all elements, working closely with an expert team of trusted freelancers on bigger events. Her approach is tailored to you, to bring your vision and personality to the day. Every wedding is unique. See our process below: Stage 1 • ✨ complete wedding enquiry form • ✨ schedule initial 30 minute consultation call to discuss the finer details, a time for you to share anything else about your day such as dress & suit colours, timings e.t.c and for me to really understand your vision • ✨ receive look and feel concept scheme and initial quotation • ✨ book to secure your date, a deposit payment is due to ensure your date is locked in and I will then start the magic of the design process. Stage 2 • ✨visit the venue if required to discuss the design ideas and venue logistics for the day. You are welcome to join. • ✨receive the design development presentation, I will refine each design element and prepare a full presentation. This is your chance to make any final changes and I will share an updated quotation for final review if you decide to make any changes or additions. • ✨ payment for the final balance is due 2 months before your wedding date, this is to ensure all materials and flower orders can be placed in advance, ready for your day. • ✨ enjoy! I will be there on the day to deliver your flowers, and show you how to hold your bouquet and fit the buttonholes. Your venue will be looking spectacular with the flowers, all you need to do is be fully present and enjoy every moment of your special day!
What other services do you offer?
Not only florals, we also offer calligraphy service for your place cards or invitations. We also supply candles and candlesticks holders to ensure the colours and style work with the florals and vessel selections.
When should we book a florist for our wedding?
We get booked in 6-12months in advance, so is never to early to enquire about florals for your day. If you have a shorter timeframe, please do get in touch as we may be able to work something out.
