FAQS
What kind of cakes do you offer?
My style is contemporary, I have a love for modern techniques and less is more designs. Your cake is bespoke to your day and as such I think it should be made a statement of!
Do you deliver?
Yes, I hand deliver all of my cakes and set them up at your venue to ensure everything is perfect for your day. I even arrange delivery with your venue to reduce your stresses leading up to the big day.
When should I book?
Dates fill up fast, so important to secure your preferred suppliers early. I recommend booking your cake as soon as possible after you’ve booked your venue and confirmed your date. You don’t need to know what design you want, we’ll discuss that approx 6-9 months before your wedding at your design consultation.
What is a design consultation?
During your design consultation will discuss the plans you have for your day, colour scheme, styling, inspo boards, you name it! Consultations can be held in person or via Zoom, it’s whatever works best for you. If you have any samples you want to match for bridesmaid dresses, invitations etc bring these with you. My aim is to get the best understanding of you and your date so I can make that perfect cake!
Can you cater for allergies?
Yes I can cater for dairy, gluten and nut allergies. However all my cakes are made in the same kitchen, so whilst I will use allergen free ingredients, I can’t guarantee there won’t be any traces.
Do you offer semi-naked or buttercream cakes?
No. That’s not to say they’re not beautiful, but for stability in those warmer months I always work with fondant. My cakes still contain buttercream fillings, but they’re then coated in a layer of white chocolate ganache and fondant.
What should we budget for our cake?
All my wedding cakes are bespoke, meaning they’re designed with all your plans and wedding day details in mind. Each wedding cake 2 tier and above includes a bespoke design to your day presented as a digital sketch, an in person design consultation, plus a tasting box with 6 of my signature flavours to sample. Starting prices for 2024; 2 Tiers from £340 3 Tiers from £500 4 Tiers from £670
