How do i start renting?

1) Browse through our rental collection here and filter based on your size and style. 2) Select 3 items you'd like to "Try on" for your 4 day at home try on session (£40 per item), we recommend every bride does a "Try on" before renting her items, this is so you can be sure of the fit and if any alterations are needed. *Top tip* Make sure to only try on items in your nearest dress size as you can damage dresses by trying on smaller sizes or if they're too big they won't be able to be altered to fit. See "How do I know it fits" for more info. 3) Now you've found THE ONE select the item(s) you'd like to rent for your month long rental. You can ‘Add To cart’ where the item will stay until you’re ready to checkout. Your order will include FREE postage/packaging and cleaning. Don't forget to purchase our £15 Damage Protection (we really recommend this!). 4) Next, enter your shipping and payment details. Make sure to verify the information on the Rental Summary, where a price breakdown is shown which may include a security deposit. 5) Once your order has been accepted, you will receive a confirmation email! If, for any reason, your request is not accepted you will receive an email detailing why. Should a request expire or be declined the temporary charge on your card will be returned to you.

How do i rent an item?

Here's how to rent your dream dress! 1) BROWSE - Begin your wedding dress rental journey on main rental page. Filter according to your size and style. 2) BOOK - Choose your rental dates, select the date you would like your rental to arrive on (we suggest selecting a three weeks before the wedding day, if you're having alterations you'll need more time before the wedding so the seamstress has at least 3 weeks to do your alteration and get it back to you). If you’d like to continue browsing you can Add To cart. If you’re ready to checkout, select checkout and be taken through to add your delivery and payment details. 3) DELIVERY - P.S. RENTAL will post your item a few days before your Start Date to ensure your item arrives on your Start Date. Your DPD tracking number will be shared with you via email. Please note that the item may arrive at any time on the first day of your rental period and must be signed for, never leave a rental in a 'safe place' as you will be liable for any loss or damage. Please open your parcel on the day it arrives and in the rare case the item is not in workable condition please notify us within the first day of your rental period on help@psonlinestyling.com. Make sure to keep all packaging for your return. 4) RETURN - Place the rental in its P.S. RENTAL Suit carrier (or original packaging) and in its original postal bag/box (every bit of packaging saved and preserved helps lower the environmental impact - In the event of your postal box arriving damaged please use an alternative package to post your items). Use the prepaid shipping label within your box to return the item - if you need a new label please contact help@psonlinestyling.com 5) DROP - Drop your package off at your nearest DPD drop off point on the specified return date (this is the last day of your rental period at the latest), making sure to keep proof of postage as this has your tracking number.

How far in advance do i need to book my dress?

This is your wedding dress! The one and only! We recommend booking out the dress on your wedding date as soon as possible to avoid disappointment (This could even be a year in advance!).

Can items be taken abroad?

Sure! As long as the items rented are returned within the rental period and are not damaged or lost thats no problem! T&Cs will apply.

What is the longest period you can rent an outfit for?

Our pricing is for up to a 28 day rental. Please email help@psonlinestyling.com to ask for details and prices for rentals longer than 28 days.

How do i know it fits?

Top Stylist tips on getting the best fit! 1) TRY IT ON - We always suggest doing our at home "try on" service! So you can enjoy that "boutique" feel experience without any limitations! So call all your bridesmaids, your mum's, granny's even your next door neighbour if you feel like it! Pop on our P.S. RENTAL Spotify playlist open a bottle of bubbles (we love Pale fox prosecco) and away you go! 2) GO SEAMLESS - Wear nude seamless underwear, Its sometimes easier to try dresses on without a bra as a lot of styles will have built in support - Here are our top 5 underwear choices. - Spanx Higher power panties - Skims High waisted thong - Commando smoothing shorts - Spanx strapless bra - Skims naked plunge 2) DON'T WEAR MAKE UP! - Not only does this give you a clean palette to work with, make up and fake tan can stain the dresses and could result in a cleaning fee. 3) SHOES, SHOES, SHOES - If you don't have your "wedding shoes" yet don't worry! Try on your look with a shoe that has a height you're comfortable in and will want to wear on the weding day. 4) ALTERATIONS - If you're thinking you need alterations and are based in London or able to travel to London for fittings, book in here with our recommended seamstresses, for your reversible alterations. Or book a free 30 minute zoom consultation to get advice on what could be altered to your dress to make it the perfect fit. Book this in during your intial "try on" session so our Stylist's can see you in the dress. 5) BE TRUE TO YOUR SIZE - We also advise brides to only pick dresses in their current dress size to try on. If the dress is several sizes too big our reversible alterations will not work and if you choose a size that is too small you may stretch or damage the item and be liable to pay for that damage.

This means your wedding dress can have several alterations to help make it the perfect fit, like shortening a hem or sleeve, small adjustments to the waist etc. It's important to choose a dress that is your day to day size and only have alterations that are necessary. By doing this you're increasing the dresses life span and letting more brides to be enjoy it too! What is a 'Try On'?

We know how important the boutique and try on experience of the wedding dress journey is. So we want to help you recreate this luxury experience at home! Brides can try up to 3 dress of their choice to rent out for 4 days for £40 each. In this time we invite you to recreate the boutique experience at home and here is how you can do it. 1) Put that champagne on ice! (We love Pale Fox Prosecco). 2) Invite all your bridal party over. 3) Don't wear heavy make up or fake tan as it could stain the dresses. 4) Think about how you might wear your hair, having your hair up or down can change the feel of the dress, what suits you best? By taking our "Accidental damage protection" you'll be covered for stain removals and things like zip and embellishment replacements. DAMAGE As a Renter, you are expected to treat rented items as if they were you best friends most prized possessions! With lost or stolen items P.S. RENTAL reserves the right to charge you for the total estimated Replacement Value of the item. If anything happens, Just email P.S. RENTAL on help@psonlinestyling.com - Subject - Lost or stolen rental. The better you communicate the situation, the faster we can help you resolve it. Our cleaning partners are magicians with stains so if you're worried about getting a drink spilt on you or a little dirt on your train opt in for our Accidental Damage Protection (£15) when requesting a rental. Accidental Damage Protection covers the cost of repairable damage such as a broken zip, missing beads, stain removal. ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE PROTECTION - £15 Includes: Stain removal - grass, mud, drinks and food etc Zip or button replacement Missing embellishments We highly recommend all brides taking out this policy so you can enjoy the day! We want all our precious dresses treated with love and kindness so if we feel any of the above are seen to be careless or intentional you may still be charged. We want all brides to enjoy their day and not worry about stains on their dress or popping a button which with our accidental damage protection you'll be covered for. But we also want to make sure that the dresses are treated with kindness and care. If there is damage beyond repair, due to carelessness, damage in excess of £99 repair fee, theft, loss or other, you will not be covered. In the event of irreparable or excessive damage and/or loss, the Renter would be liable to cover the total estimated market value of the item, at the discretion of the P.S. RENTAL team. You may also be asked for a Security Deposit on certain high value items for added peace of mind. Check "How do I make sure I don't damage my rentals?" to see our top tips on how to rent and reduce the risk of damage. P.S. RENTALS TOP TIPS ON CAREFREE BRIDAL RENTALS 1) CHANGE FOR YOUR PARTY! We highly recommend this to all brides, this is the point where most brides end up ruining their dresses, drinks spilt, drunk relatives treading and ripping your train the list goes on! And whats more don't you want that WOW factor and have your costume change? If you can't do it on your wedding day when can you! Now you've saved money and the environment by renting your dress look through our selection of second dresses for the perfect party look! 2) USE YOUR WRIST LOOP - On the inside of your train or skirt you'll have a wrist loop which means you can hold your dress while you go and greet your guests. This is another point when brides tend to damage their dresses so either ask one of your bridesmaids to follow you around or use your wrist loop. 3) REMOVE YOUR VEIL - Let your dress breathe! After the ceremony you can set aside the veil while you greet your guests. If you'd like it for your professional pictures you can always hold it till then too. 4) BE TRUE TO YOUR SIZE - Go for your true dress size this means you'll not only feel comfortable in the dress but if you squeeze yourself into smaller sizes the delicate fabrics will stretch or could rip and this could be classed as a irreparable damage. As a Renter, you are expected to treat rented items as if they were you best friends most prized possessions! We understand that accidents can happen so we have created our Accidental damage protection add-on to help give you peace of mind so you can enjoy the wedding day without worrying about spills! Damage Protection covers the cost of repairable damage (such as a broken zip, missing beads, stain removal) to give you peace of mind when renting. If anything happens, just email P.S. RENTAL on help@psonlinestyling.com - Subject - Damage to rental. The better you comminicate the situation, the faster we can help you resolve it. If you haven’t opted to pay for Damage Protection and if the item is damaged beyond repair, lost, stolen or the repair costs more than £99, P.S. RENTAL reserves the right to charge you for the total estimated Replacement Value of the item. Please note that you may also be required to have a Security Deposit authorised on your card if the value of the garment is over £2500.
