How many guests can you have at the wedding breakfast?
You can have up to one hundred guests seated in the secret walled garden dining room for your wedding breakfast.
Is there accommodation on-site?
You will have seven luxurious bedrooms within the house, which are available for you and your guests to use. Nearby we have the beautiful historic towns of Ironbridge, Shifnal and Bridgnorth all within three miles. Each have a great selection of guest houses and hotels. The town of Telford is just five miles away with large hotels just a short taxi ride away.
When can we arrive and when do we leave?
You can stay at Stockton for as long as you like. Whether you decide to celebrate for a weekend or a week (longer if you wish!) it's completely your choice. At a minimum you can arrive the day before your wedding day to set everything up, stay the night of your wedding day and enjoy breakfast or brunch with us the next day. One things for sure, however long you stay you won't want to leave.
Where can I hold my wedding ceremony?
There’s so much choice when you book your wedding at Stockton House. You can get married at St Chad’s church down the lane. If you’d like a civil ceremony you could get married in our unique secret walled garden dining room, or if you would like an outdoor ceremony you could get married in our beautiful gardens next to the Victorian turning house. If you would like a more intimate ceremony for up to 15 guests then you could host your ceremony in our drawing room.
Do you allow dogs?
Yes, absolutely. Well behaved pups are more than welcome to stay or join you on your weddings day!
