We truly can’t thank Amy, Tom and the rest of the Stockton house team for helping us create the most incredible wedding weekend. We first looked around Stockton pre refurb when it was a house full of mood boards and fell in love with the vision that they had for the house. It’s been incredible watching them bring that to life in the house over the last year or so (although at times we had to trust the process!) and what an incredible result. The venue is even more special than we imagined, made more special by the care and attention of the team whilst you are there. The relationship we felt we developed with the team was a friendship which made it such a lovely experience to work with them leading up to and on the wedding weekend. Being huge foodies, a big appeal of having our wedding at Stockton was that the weekend centred around the food we love and enjoy. We wanted a noisy, happy weekend with everyone tucking in to pizzas on Friday night, a loud Italian sharing breakfast on our wedding day followed by dirty burgers and chips in the evening, and a chilled breakfast the next morning on the terrace. Everything Tom and his team produced was absolutely spot on, all our guests said how different the food was for a wedding and how much they all really enjoyed it - a testament to this was how many steaming bowls of pasta came out of the kitchen and replaced empty ones on the tables! A huge bonus for us for booking with Stockton, was that the venue was ours for the weekend, the food we had was curated by Tom and us and we could tweak it however we wanted to suit us, and that the team were incredibly flexible with making whatever we wanted work. The attention to detail was impeccable, the above and beyonds too many to mention. The feedback from our guests has been more than we could have ever hoped for, we all loved it so much it was hard to say goodbye on the Sunday and not do it all over again immediately!

My wife and I got married at Stockton this year and would definitely recommend it! The setting is stunning with great photo opportunities and the house and garden room are fab choices to celebrate a wedding. The fact that we had access to the house the day before, the whole day of and at our leisure the day after our wedding was amazing and made the whole experience so much more relaxing! The food was also terrific and served brilliantly by the attentive and polite staff. Amy were incredibly helpful in planning the day and helping us create the experience we wanted, with Amy and Pixie ensuring everything ran like clockwork on the day itself. We can't thank them enough!

We always said if we made it 10 years we would get married. It was our 10th year anniversary of being together and I surprised Shane with our very first visit to Stockton House!! The moment we drove up the driveway and were greeted by such a beautiful building, I just knew this was where I wanted our wedding, I just had to persuade Shane ???? We said yes to the venue and just under a month ago, on the 17th of February 2024 we made it a reality and got married! I just wish I could do it all over again! If you want a story to grow old with, a place to be married that will stand for a lifetime for you to visit often and a church that is so perfect it felt like your own castle and you were the king and Queen, Stockton house is the wedding venue of a lifetime. (They do have an award now too, did I forget to mention... and it's a pretty important one - Ask Amy!) All of this was thanks to the beautiful team that run this beautiful house like a home of their own. The support we had was incredible on our planning journey. What a journey it was... our children were cared for like we would care for them ourselves. I mean Amy was tucked up in bed with our youngest at one point watching Peppa pig, whilst Ellie helped Tom in the dining room to feed all of our evening guests, whilst making sure Shane and I were ok. The whole thing was literally second to none.. The food was incredible, The hospitality was incredible, The house is absolutely stunning and The team, well... They are truly something else! Thank you to Amy, Ellie, Tom, Mandy and Sue and all the other special team members for everything you did for us all.. You will never know how much all of you individually played such an important role in our wedding day, Shane and I will be forever grateful. Not only have we had the wedding neither of us will forget or regret, we have a Stockton family who we can't wait to come and visit again already! This house will hold a dear place in my heart always! Thank you for everything, thank you for making this little girl's wedding day dream, a reality! The only word to describe this venue is pure magic. Every member of the Stockton House team goes above and beyond to help bring your vision of your wedding day to life. From the bespoke menus that you craft with the uber-talented head chef, Tom, to planning all the wedding day details with the lovely Ellie & Amy, and the wonderful M&S and the front of house team makes you feel totally spoilt and at home in Stockton House. The house is beautifully renovated, full of character and charm. We celebrated our perfect day in September 2023, with 12 family members for our ceremony and private dining experience before 80 of our family & friends joined us for one hell of a party. We find ourselves at a loss for adequate enough adjectives to describe just how extraordinary this wedding venue is. Nothing about it is average and unless you've had the privilege of getting married there, it would be hard to fully appreciate the magic that Stockton House holds. Our journey with Stockton House began in 2021 when the building was undergoing renovation. Despite the hard hats and high-visibility jackets, we were captivated. It possessed a unique personal feeling we hadn't encountered in the 12+ venues we had visited. As the months passed, the building's transformation unfolded, surpassing our wildest dreams. The team kept us engaged with development photos and frequent invitations to witness it’s progress. Early on, Amy and Ellie became integral to our wedding experience. They provided unwavering support through texts, emails, and valuable ideas, even influencing our choice of napkins and tablecloths, all whilst giving us constant words of encouragement. Stockton House understands that a wedding revolves around your loved ones. They encourage you to involve them in the planning process. Our menu tasting wasn't just for us, but four additional guests too. It quickly became evident that no detail was too small for the Stockton team, who were dedicated to perfection. Head chef Tom joined us between courses to discuss dishes and ingredient sourcing. The exceptional options made our choices challenging, but Stockton was accommodating when we requested changes, such as a crouton changing to a sourdough crisp or the malbec swapping to a specific Primitivo. When the big weekend arrived, Amy and Ellie were there to guide us through setup and ensure everything ran smoothly. Tom outdid himself with every single food element. From a Thai extravaganza on Friday to venison perfection for 80 guests, and the world's best dessert, Stockton House set a new standard for wedding cuisine. Their take on KFC for evening food and a remarkable 80 person BBQ to continue celebrations the following day, earned high praise. Our foodie hearts swelled with pride as guests and suppliers alike declared it the best wedding food they'd ever tasted. M&S maintained impeccable cleanliness and hospitality, even repurposing some of our décor for a delightful breakfast surprise the following day. We also later found out that Amy briefed the team about us as a couple which added a personalised touch. Our wedding day at Stockton House was flawless, with not a single disappointment -except for the fact that it had to end. However, Stockton won't be rid of us easily; we plan to return whenever possible. We've already stopped by for a catch-up and were welcomed with open arms, a testament to the incredible team. Choosing Stockton House as our wedding venue was the second-best decision we ever made, with the first being our decision to get married in the first place. We can't imagine our day without this extraordinary venue and the exceptional team behind it. Words alone cannot express our gratitude, but we want to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
