We had an incredible experience with Katy and Jim from the start. They provided lots of advice and tips on eloping to the Isle of Skye in Scotland and we ended up using lots of suppliers that they recommended. They also recommended our humanist celebrant, and he was perfect. On the day Katy and Jim made us so relaxed and comfortable which was a miracle as we both hate having our photos taken and generally end up looking awkward and unphotogenic. We received a preview of our photos within a week of our wedding and they were stunning. Our full set of photos was with us a couple of months later and they exceeded all our expectations. They look beautiful and natural and perfectly capture the mood of our day. We loved the mixture of individual, couple, group and nature photos. We picked our elopement location due to the views and natural surroundings and it was great to see this captured in our photos. The only issue now is working out which photos we want to put on the walls, too much choice! Thanks both of you!

Working with such knowledgeable professionals (and marvellous human beings) made the journey towards our wedding day, as well as the big day itself, a stress free and magical experience. Having seen their previous work we already knew that Jim and Katy are very talented. We were still very impressed by the quality our own wedding album. We couldn’t have asked for better photographers for our wedding day - let alone for the trials and tribulations of covid postponements and cancellations ! From the get go Katy & Jim went above and beyond - always available for advice or any questions - we ended up cancelling our original plans with them of having a big wedding and decided on a small elopement instead - they were there every step of the way with wonderful ideas and their knowledge of Scotland and where to go / stay is second to none - on the day it was like we were just hanging out with our new friends - we had so much fun - and the photographs …. Wow.. the way they captured our day was just perfection. We couldn’t recommend them more !

Being camera shy we were a bit worried about spending a day in front of a camera, but The Caryls were amazing at making us feel at ease. It was so much fun to share this very special day with them and they went the extra mile to to make sure our wedding was perfect in every way. It made a huge difference to have photographers who not only take incredible photos but also know Scotland really well and can recommend trusted local suppliers. Their photos have captured the essence of our elopement in a stunning way - from the first moments in which we got ready to when we put our hair down after sunset. More importantly they were able to grasp who we are and our love, beyond any expectation. We now have photos which tell the story of our day and that will ensure we can remember it and share it for years to come. There is a reason why everyone says they are the best at what they do!

We had an initial meeting over Zoom and from that moment we knew they were the right people to have photograph our elopement. They were full of exciting and original ideas, and were extremely easy to chat to. They immediately put us at ease and gave us some great practical advice about eloping in Scotland.
