We got married at Castle Westenhanger on 05/03/23 and it was utterly PERFECT! The venue was stunning, the team were faultless and the food scrumptious, it really was a dream come true!! It exceeded all expectations and many of our guests have said it was the best wedding they had ever been to, and we had a lot of guests!!! From the day we walked in to view the castle to the day itself Jackie went above and beyond her role, nothing was too difficult, everything was made possible and I had a very specific vision! We had the ceremony in the ground floor of the manor house and it was the most romantic, unique and intimate experience (even with 120 guests). We then had the reception in the marquee which was equally beautiful, with the castle backdrop and the large dancefloor we made the most of this very spacious beautifully kept marquee. The food was outstanding and the day ran like clockwork. Hats off to the team. We were thoroughly impressed. We would highly recommend this venue for a large or small wedding, winter or summer!

I could go on for pages on why we recommend this venue! From the start when we met our wedding planner Tania who is now basically family till the end of the day it was perfect! Our wedding on the 10th June was not only smooth running but also we were looked after like royalty in what was a superb setting and the food for once at a wedding was brilliant! Throughout the process it has been nothing less than perfect and the cost of the venue all in is incredible for what you are getting, we felt it undervalues when it is a hidden gem! The service we received was brilliant from start to finish, both Tania for the majority and Jackie were extremely helpful and accommodating no matter what time of day. Nothing was too much trouble and the whole experience was perfect.

A huge thank you to Jackie, Tania, Adam, Vicky and the team at the Castle Westenhanger for making our wedding day so special. The day was perfect from the morning to the evening and we would not have changed a thing. It is a stunning combination of Manor House surrounded by ruined castle walls, with these and the dove cote making some lovely photos. The food was delicious, with guests commenting throughout the evening as to its quality, and the team’s level of organisation and timing was faultless. They were so supportive both before and throughout the day. Their whole process is outstanding. At no point in the day did we feel stressed or pressured for time, meaning we could fully enjoy the day with our guests instead of worrying about what needed doing. All this was incredibly impressive as the team succeeded in organising our perfect day from scratch in the space of 7 weeks (our original venue cancelled our wedding 7 weeks before we were due to get married). They succeeded in taking away all the stress of rearranging a full wedding at short notice and we are so glad we moved venues rather than postpone our wedding.
