FAQS
What does the wedding planner do on the wedding day?
Your wedding planner will be the first vendor at your venue, and the last one to leave. They will make sure all vendors are there, and where they are suppose to be. They will be there for any quesitons from the bridal party, vendors, the venue staff, and guests. They will help keep the couple on time through the entire day, and so much more.
When is the best time to hire a wedding planner?
As soon as you get engaged is the best time as a wedding planner can assist you with sourcing your wedding venue with you and all of you wedding suppliers and steer you in the right direction and keep you on track with your wedding planning.
Do you work with all kinds of vendors to cater to specific cultures and religious?
We absolutely cater to all of our client’s needs, and work with only the best vendors that fit within your values/requirements, and that will add value to your big day.
Do wedding planners only work with preffered suppliers?
We can’t speak for all wedding planners but for us we aim to work only with established and trusted suppliers as ultimately our outstanding reputation is in their hands. With weddings becoming more and more individualistic we sometimes have to look to new suppliers that we may not have previously worked with, in these cases we will only engage a supplier once we have assured they are able to deliver to the standard expected.
How many meetings should we expect to have with you?
Generally our first consultation will be a 30 min – 1 hr session run either over the phone, Skype, or in person; this is so we can learn a bit more about you, your planning so far, and your ideas, and so you can ask any questions you may have as well. The information we both share about ourselves in this occasion is really important for you to find the best fit for you – and also allows us to put together a quote/proposal for services best suited to you. It’s all about affinity. Once you’ve booked, we offer us Full Plan couples a combination of: unlimited email, phone, and Skype communication during office hours (though of course emergencies will be dealt with immediately wherever possible); evening and weekend calls, to be scheduled; up to 3 meetings during your trips in to run through wedding plans, discuss any decisions that have to be made, or accompany you to local supplier meetings; and two full-day venue visits.
