Onsite accommodation – do we get priority bookings?
Although we now benefit from having a hotel onsite, this is a separate business from ourselves. The onsite Bowers Mill aparthotel books on a first come first served basis. We have been a venue for over 20 years and have lots of lovely local places nearby for your guests to enjoy.
What do you provide on the tables for my wedding breakfast?
We provide chairs, table linen, crockery, cutlery and glassware. You will receive a décor inventory list following confirmation of your booking. If you are filling our vases with fresh or laying across trestle tables; foliage/flowers must be provided by yourself or a florist.
Are you a dog friendly venue?
We welcome ‘well behaved’ dogs. From experience, weddings, lots of people and loud noises can unsettle animals. Many couples will bring their dog for the ceremony and photographs and then have their pet collected, so their pet is not overwhelmed.
Is it a set menu within the packages?
Yes; we will also accommodate for ‘dietary requirements’ ie; vegan, gluten free, allergies etc. Multiple choices are available to serve guests which are charged at an additional supplement. We can offer you either a set three course menu, or alternatively we can offer you a relaxed & informal wedding breakfast with grazing boards for example.
