What's the best way to use the spaces at Wedderburn?
How you would like your wedding to be? Some people use the castle and barns on their wedding day. Others have their heart set on a barn ceremony that they can personalise and use cottage accommodation on the grounds. Others have a fairytale wedding weekend – or longer in the castle.
How long have you been doing weddings?
At the castle, the first wedding took place over 30 years ago and 10 years ago we launched the barns because we wanted to give couples a choice of options. We love the way that weddings have changed over the years and now people have complete freedom to do things their way and in their own style.
Who will be our point of contact?
Wedderburn Castle and Barns is a family-run business and we are always happy to help – or to leave you to do all your own planning if you would prefer. Cat is an event manager and owner and she has a huge amount of event planning experience and is always full of alternative supplier suggestions if you are looking for something a bit different. On the day one of our team of event managers will look after you throughout the day. Some team members have worked at Wedderburn for over 10 years and all are experienced event professionals, as well as being truly lovely people!
Do you do viewings or open days?
We like to do individual viewings. Every wedding at Wedderburn is unique and meeting on a one-to-one basis gives us a chance to chat through your plans with you. As well as meeting in person, we're happy to do Zoom meetings and viewings or to forward videos of the castle and barns.
