My husband and I decided to have our wedding reception at Wonwood Barton after just one visit, we never looked back! We wanted a rustic/vintage-themed, small, relaxed wedding with 34 guests, so Wonwood Barton was perfect for this. We decided to have a BBQ which followed the relaxed atmosphere of the day. The food from start to finish (canapes/tea and cake/BBQ/desserts/cheese and biscuits) was excellent with so many compliments from the guests on its quality and presentation, the hospitality and attention to detail in all aspects of our day were faultless.

Sausage baguettes were going down a treat later in the evening! And Wonwood Barton as a venue was just perfect so thank you for having us!

A day we could not imagine could be any better, the marquee was absolutely gorgeous and we got so much time to decorate the venue exactly as we had dreamed. Recommend Milton Abbot if you are looking for a nearby church. Take me back!!!

Jasmin & Matt, July 2022 A dream DIY wedding. “We were sold from the minute we found Wonwood Barton, it was the perfect wedding venue for us. We wanted a barn, DIY feel venue that could house some guests, offer camping and had a relaxed feel. That is exactly what we got. The venue is so beautiful that it doesn't require much decoration and there are so many different areas around the courtyard that we were able to use for different purposes. This meant that our photos were great too. We used the summer marquee in the green field package which meant that we could have a great party and were lucky enough to be able to get married outside.”
