This is one Trunk Show that I'm super excited to share with you all. Alexandra Grecco dresses are beautifully cut, with stylish details and made from the most wonderful fabrics. Until now, these dresses haven't been available in England but this April, one of our favourite boutiques Ghost Orchid, are hosting the first ever UK Trunk Show at their lovely boutique in the East Riding of Yorkshire. This is an incredible opportunity to see these stunning dresses in the flesh, without having to purchase a ticket to NYC. (Although, wouldn't that be fab? A New York trip to go wedding dress shopping???!) Anyway...back to reality. Actually the East Riding of Yorkshire is just as nice as New York - much more green and pleasant ;) The latest Alexandra Grecco collection will be at the Ghost Orchid boutique from 20th-30th April 2017 and is by appointment only. So, people ask us at Ghost Orchid Bride, “What is a Trunk Show?“ Bridal trunk shows are events we host where we will have gowns we don’t ordinarily stock from a certain designer in store for a limited time. These are rare opportunities for brides to sample way more gowns at one fitting than they ever would normally get chance to! These events are by private appointment only and just like a regular bridal consultation. Often our trunk shows showcase gowns from a newly released collection or a designer that’s not otherwise available in the UK. With clean lines and a fresh modern take on romantic designs, Alexandra Grecco focusses on truly beautifully imagined details. From botanical full skirts to sleek open backs, from stylish two-pieces to billowing capes...we are in awe of these dreamy gowns.
