Alpaca Wedding Guests & Watters Bride Dress at Rustic Farm Wedding

There were some very special four-legged furry guests at this wedding! This couple tied the knot at the bride's childhood home, making it extra sentimental, opting to hire a tipi on the farm! Rustic decor littered the country style wedding with wooden signs and milk churn flower arrangements! After the church ceremony, the couple slipped on their wellington boots for the short walk to reception where the Alpaca wedding guests were waiting! Even with the surprise arrival of the furry friends the bride and groom were still the stars of the show with the bride stunning in a Watters wedding dress and the groom in a traditional grey morning suit!

What Made Our Day Unique
We tried to make our wedding as personalised as possible to us. As Catherine grew up on a farm we had always known that we wanted to get married there. Our church was a few minutes walk away next to a river, so on our way to the reception we put on our wellies and walked through the ford. This was something that everyone enjoyed watching and made for a fun first walk as a married couple. We both have a love for alpacas and we had kept a secret from our guests that we would be having them at our reception!

Alpaca Wedding

The couple's love for these furry animals meant it was only right that there was an Alpaca wedding theme! From the surprise, real-life animal encounter to the delicious biscuit wedding favours the guests took home with them and even the fun cake toppers that sat on the pink drip wedding cake, Alpacas were everywhere!

Inspiration & Styling
We would describe the vibe we were going for as a relaxed, outdoor, homely wedding. Our styling was focused on country/farm wedding with hay bales, lots of outdoor lighting, a tractor for a photobooth and pastel outdoor tones. It is hard to pick one favourite moment as we both loved every single second of our day and really was our dream wedding. But, one of our favourites was our alpacas, none of our guests had any idea. Catherine is obsessed with them and we had to have them a part of the day, some of our favourite photos are our couple shots with them and our guests' reactions.
