Inspiration

When two of your favourite wedding industry creatives head to Italy on a styling road trip, you just know the results are going to be stunning. Sundari The Wedding Stylist and photographer Cecelina have created sheer beauty at Villa Montanare. Every detail is feminine, elegant and just really, really pretty. And sometimes, that's exactly what you need - pure unadulterated beauty. It really is the perfect dose of escapism for a Friday. Destination brides - I'm feeling very envious of you right now. Especially any one getting married right here...
Sundari & Cecelina: There is something about the Italian air that gets under your skin, warms your heart and invites you to revert back to your childhood self and just enjoy every moment. This shoot was inspired by just that, that playfulness and naivety we all have when exploring Italy and in particular the rolling countryside of Tuscany. An authentic and ancient Italian olive farm, now turned wedding venue, played host to our inspired shoot of a home grown and organic style. Many international couples go in search of their “Italian escape” when planning their elopement or wedding and we wanted to create just that, a story of escapism and joyousness. We - Cecelina (of Cecelina Photography) and Sundari (of The W Stylist), went traveling to Italy with the goal of creating some beautiful work. We built the story around our bride, a native Italian whom lives and works abroad but whom has chosen to marry her love at her childhood home in Cortona. Her home boasts all the textured stone floors, stunning white walls, ancient olive grinders and even more magnificent views over the Tuscan hills. Her style simple and uncomplicated, her look soft and relaxed as she runs around her home’s olive gardens. The flowers soft in palette and in turn the stationery on rustic handmade papers. Using fresh fruit to add that Italian connection to food with soft elegance of the antique cutlery.
