We don't know where to start with this wedding! From the surfboard table plan, to the artificial wedding bouquet and table flower decor handmade by the couple and their friends, everything was simply divine! Having re-arranged their wedding twice before, their new date fell on another special day, the Euros final. After a beautiful outdoor ceremony at the characterful barn venue in Cheshire, guests gathered to watch the big match together and although England didn't quite bring it home, the doughnut and brownie tower made the defeat a little sweeter!

We always wanted a relaxed wedding vibe and with this being our third date and the rules lifting it just felt so special for everyone to be together. We were able to get married outside and the weather held out for us all day until the evening when although it rained we didn’t mind as it was the Euro 2020 final with England in the final! We used the ceremony room and had a big screen adding something else just a little different! Although we didn’t win it didn’t matter as everyone was together and it was our wedding!

We wanted a relaxed outdoor wedding, originally we had planned to get married in February and this had to be moved twice due to the pandemic. We felt like the venue was perfectly suited to us as the large windows made inside feel like it was outside and so we didnt have to worry about the weather either way! We didnt want anything too formal and just wanted a day with our friends and family which we felt suited our relaxed personalities. We didn't feel the venue needed too much styling as it already had its own character. We decorated it with artificial table decor and had artificial wedding bouquets.

Outdoor Ceremony at Rustic Barn Wedding

We used artificial flowers with the help of a creative friend (who had no experience with flowers!) We purchased good quality flowers and our friend made the most beautiful artificial wedding bouquet and table/venue decorations, the bridesmaids were all able to keep the bouquets afterwards as an extra gift! Another item that was made by Wade's dad was our Surf Board table plan from an old surfboard we had! Painted with wood effect paint and then whiteboard paint this meant we were able to wipe the table plan off after it was used and the board become our guest book
