Monochrome Bodleian Wedding Inspiration

Our vision was to create a modern elopement story with a high fashion feel at the Bodleian Library in Oxford.

With power ponytails being this seasons wedding hair trend, I, Holly Edmonds Hair Artistry, wanted to create something really special. This particular design is inspired by some of my favourite Russian hairstylists and their styling techniques. I used a crimping iron to add volume and texture to the front and crown of my design and dressed the curls out by using my trusty sticks. I set the finished look using my Maria Nila extra strong hair spray and added my all-time favourite Harper hairpins by Miss Clemmie Bridal Accessories.

Laura Caroll Makeup Artistry went for a combination of modern and classic bridal makeup to create a soft and romantic look. Using neutral tones to complement the Bodleian stone but modernising the look with glowing luminous skin to bring romance.
