Zoe & Will were married at the Boiler Shop, Newcastle, and the vibes are immaculate. From the industrial styling, to the couple looking outrageously sleek, you’re simply spoilt for inspiration choice! Wanting an individual day that was unique to them, Zoe & Will set out on their venue journey. After three changes (due to COVID), they eventually decided upon the Boiler Shop for their ceremony and Horticulture for the reception. Their colour scheme was inspired by the bouquet Zoe picked for the day, leaving them with a bright and bold look, which we love. Oh, and we’d just like to mention their dog in a bow tie… that is all.

We really wanted our wedding to be individual and unique to us as a couple. After 3 venue changes due to COVID, we eventually landed upon two very unique and quirky venues in Newcastle.
VIBE
We wanted our wedding to be bright and bold. Our colour scheme came from the flowers Zoe wanted in her bouquet. We wanted the styling to have a more modern vibe using streamers and neons. There was also personal elements threaded throughout our day - Zoe looked back through the Facebook archives to make some interesting Polaroids for the place cards! We also collected bottles for over a year of our favourite drinks to have on the tables for flowers. Our catering was created alongside the Chef around food we loved, and craft beers were available throughout the day.
ADVICE
Plan the wedding YOU want. We tried to not follow traditions that we didn’t want to include and the result was a wedding we wish we could do again! It was everything we wanted it to be. We couldn’t have done it without our wedding planners. So, we would recommend a planner to anyone. It takes the pressure off you as a couple, and means you can relax on the day knowing everything will be ok!
We do love an industrial vibe against the stark contrast of bright colours - it always works so well!
We loved all parts of our wedding! After a hard year, finally seeing our close friends and family together was the icing on the cake. And obviously tying the knot… finally!
