What Made Our Day Unique
We had a two day multi-ceremony wedding using most of the rooms at Hornington Manor. It began with a Hindu ceremony on Friday followed by beers, an Indian buffet, henna and a very rowdy house party! On Saturday we had our civil ceremony and afternoon tea before being shown to our 'garden party' themed wedding breakfast. We also hired a non-wedding DJ to ensure it felt more like a fun night out than a traditional wedding.
Civil Ceremony
Following on from the amazing party the night before, the civil ceremony was just as lovely, with the couple saying their vows in front of their family and friends and a beautiful white flower wall. Following on from this, afternoon tea was served before being escorted to the 'garden party' themed wedding breakfast where delicious sharing platters were on the menu! And if that wasn't enough food, guests were also treated to a tasty cheese tower!Inspiration & Styling
We wanted it to feel like a weekend away for everyone, including us, rather than a formal wedding. We brought the outside into the venue with the gorgeous silver birch trees, foliage on the tables and lights, we spilled into the Courtyard for afternoon tea on bamboo plates, our amazing musician played for everyone outside until the barn was opened up to reveal the tables which had been set up as an indoor picnic.
Melina and Andrew had a whole heap of lovely suppliers who came together to create their perfect wedding weekend! It can definitely be confusing knowing who to pick so we have a whole heap of suppliers that we love over on our Recommended section and we know you will love them just as much too! Just like Emma Beaumont who designed this stunning bespoke wedding dress for our beautiful bride!
