Inspiration

Located in East London, Clapton Country Club played host to this contemporary wedding. Making the most of the venues natural charm this couple opted for stunning floral installations throughout, the foliage decor dressed the venue perfectly which gave the day a great botanical vibe and styled with the draped festoon lighting and disco ball excellently. Along with the floral decor the bouquets also looked gorgeous, teaming so well with the bridesmaid dresses and with the brides boho wedding dress, featuring intricately beaded lace and sequin tassels this dress was designed for the bride by Fleetwood of London, all captured flawlessly by Lovestruck Photography.

What Made Our Day Unique

The food and drink were really important to us both and the venue allowed us to create our own bespoke Italian menu, linking back to where we got engaged. We added a personal touch by developing and labelling our very own beer with the help of Padstow Brewing co which is a brewery very close to our hearts, this was a big talking point at dinner and throughout the night, and made a change from just having wine at the table. The decor was also important to the look and feel of the day and Emily at Design by Nature created the most magical installations that were a real talking point of the day. We wish that we could re-live the whole day over and over again!

Clapton Country Club Wedding

A unique East London venue, Clapton Country Club was the perfect location for this bride and grooms wedding. The couple met in Clapton in the pub across the road from the venue which meant they had spent a lot of time in the area and made the day even more special going back to where it all began and being able to share these memories with their friends and family.

Inspiration & Styling

We wanted a relaxed feel to the whole day and we wanted our guests to feel comfortable from start to finish. The venue is stripped back but absolutely beautiful so we did not want to overfill it and hide its natural charm. Design by Nature worked closely with us to ensure that we did just that by creating the most stunning and unique floral installations which were the central part of our styling. In the evening we just wanted it to feel like a big party with our guests doing what we love - drinking, socialising and celebrating. We only needed a select few suppliers and we chose those that were either close to our hearts, recommended or local to our home and the venue. We wanted to source as much from small and local businesses as we possibly could.
