Inspiration

The dried flower wedding bouquet is having a moment, and Anneke has shown us just how it's done. Anyone who thought dried flowers were a dusty thing of days gone by, only needs to glance at the stunning photos of Anneke and Marcel's ceremony and they'll be changing their tune faster than you can say pampas grass bouquet. Boho, rustic, and incredibly low maintenance... in short, what's not to love?

When we were planning the vibe for our wedding wanted to emphasise what was important to us, but without overdoing it. The whole day should be relaxed for everyone. As the old saying goes 'take it easy!'.

STYLE

Anneke and Marcel knew that they loved boho vibes and wanted that to shine through in their wedding. The stunning rustic location, Anneke's boho style dress and her dried flower wedding bouquet were the perfect match. Not only did they make a lot of their decorations, but they built the beautiful dining table from scratch using 200 year old wood! They've brought a whole new level to DIY wedding decor...

THE DAY

Their free wedding ceremony was followed by a sit-down with their family and friends in the gardens of the castle. Cheesecake was on the menu, and they chose 70's music to bring some more magic to the air of an already amazing day. 'You and Me' by Lifehouse was their first dance song, and our only wish is that we could have seen these two have their first spin together in the beautiful grounds!

Anneke and Marcel chose a dreamy castle location for their beautiful micro-wedding. They held their ceremony in the old Orangery and celebrated afterwards in the picturesque gardens.

Our advice to other couples planning their wedding: Start early, know what you want and decide what is important for you!
