Inspiration

A Florence wedding at Villa Medicea di Lilliano with pontoon lighting, an outdoor ceremony and views that go on for miles! You can't get more romantic than an Italian wedding and with handwritten letters to each guest from the Bride herself, this wedding took personal touches to a whole new level! The villa provided the perfect backdrop to the day's nuptials, which was full of handpicked wines, great food, fishtail braids and lots (and lots!) of laughter!

What Made Our Day Unique

The personal touches. From the handwritten letters to each guest in the favours (notebooks for everyone to take home and put to whatever use felt relevant) to the music that just reflected us - who else has walked down the aisle to Wagon Wheel? The speeches from Em, Ant, and the best man (Ants brother) which each let their personalities shine. The guests who brought their best A-game party hats and dancing shoes. The incredible food and carefully selected wine which was paired perfectly with each course of the menu with the help of Em’s stepdad.

Florence Wedding

Villa Medicea di Lilliano is the epitome of beautiful Tuscan elegance and sophistication and is just the most gorgeous venue for this Florence wedding. Surrounded by vinyards and a view that is never ending, we can certainly see why Emily and Ant fell in love with this villa, something that started as a pipe dream but became beautiful reality! Minimal decor was needed as, I think we will all agree, that the venue and views speak for itself. Although, the bride did have a go at some DIY which was a complete success, especially the table plan which obviously had to be easily transportable to get it all the way to Italy but was also changeable for last-minute guest alterations! What an amazing idea - take note!

Inspiration & Styling

The vibe of our day in a word was ‘relaxed’ we wanted everyone to have a good time, we wanted no-one to worry about a thing, we wanted good food, great wine, a fantastic view and lots and lots of laughter. Tuscany and rustic romance were the key style inspirations.
