We love it when a bride lets their personality shine through! Claire said her I-do’s wearing a beautiful and unique flower wedding dress. Marrying at The Gardens in Yalding, Deano & Claire wanted their day to be like an English garden party; soft pastel colours, floral arrangements, and lots of personal touches. Their styling was complete with handmade dreamcatchers by Claire and an epic cake stand! The bride & groom even managed to sneak off for some evening shots…
What Made Our Day Unique
The atmosphere and the venue; all we really wanted was everyone to enjoy themselves and come together to celebrate with us! We were really laid back in our planning of the wedding and I think this came across on the day.
Flower Wedding Dress
Claire wanted her gown to be a true reflection of her personality. Trying on just one, she immediately fell in love with her flower wedding dress! And, in an incredibly serendipitous moment, when Deano went to pick out his suit, he opted for a floral tie, completely unaware he would be matching his bride! Now that’s what you call true love…
Inspiration & Styling
I wanted it to be very English garden with lots of soft pretty colours. Anywhere I could slip in a bit of rose gold I did! Lots of the decorations I made myself; from the dreamcatchers, to the bridesmaids hair clips, to the place names. We wanted it all the feel very relaxed, like we were at a big garden party.
Well, we’ll keep saying it until you’re sick of us, but it’s always ‘Your Day, Your Way’! If you do not want a conventional wedding dress, then don’t do it. You must feel comfortable in whatever you wear, and allow it to showcase who you are as a person, just like Claire’s did! If you need some inspiration, check out this wedding jumpsuit!
