Are you ready for some ooh la la in France? Then allow us to present this stunning French Chateau wedding. We've got romantic floral arches, greenery garlands, outdoor receptions, and the prettiest lace Bardot wedding dress you ever did see. Not to mention the cutest moment captured by Hannah Duffy Photography of the bride and grooms mini entourage tying tin cans to the wedding car. It's a total swoon fest from start to finish, and you're going to love it!

What Made Our Day Unique

Having been together since we were 17, we wanted to include subtle details reflecting our experiences together - we had love letters on the tables, as we studied English Literature together (!), pétanque, chess and dominoes during the cocktail to reflect the "Jardin du Luxembourg" from Rachael's time living in Paris, and "tinto de verano" and tapas as a nod to Jason's time living in Madrid. We wrote our own vows, which made the ceremony feel incredibly personal, and hand-picked all of the music for the entire day, which really made the day really feel like ours.

French Chateau Wedding

Did you know 1 in 5 couples get married abroad? You do now. We're blessed with beautiful destination weddings weekly and they always make me want to pack my bags and jet off immediately, just like this French Chateau wedding. And is it any wonder when venues like these have quaint courtyards for al fresco receptions and picturesque views for dreamy couples portraits. Plus I have it on good authority you can stay up until past 3 am and dance the night away!

Rachael & Jason
Although this was a destination wedding, Rachael & Jason brought a little bit of home (Northern Ireland) with them by using wedding suppliers close to home to get their wedding outfits. Rachael chose an exquisite Bardot wedding dress from Naomis of Ballynahinch and Jason opted for a three-piece Navy suit from A F White in Co. Down. If you're looking for suppliers near you, search our hand-picked wedding directory The List and make a match now. Rachael & Jason found their fabulous sting quartet Carcassonne via our recommended supplier FixTheMusic, who will you find?
