Inspiration

Elegance is at the forefront of this Froyle Park wedding, with incredible white and green flowers arrangements, acrylic signs and a seven-tier wedding cake with edible gold leaf layer. The bride, bridesmaids and mother of the bride kept things crisp and sophisticated in white dresses and a suit, and the groomsmen complement them perfectly in dapper tuxedos. To honour Emma's Swedish tradition, their meal took place over a number of hours and included more than 20 speeches. And being dancers, Emma and Martin treated guests to the famous Dirty Dancing routine! What a day captured by White Stag Wedding Photography.

What Made Our Day Unique

Right from the start we wanted our wedding to be all about the guest experience. While we already knew we would have the best day ever, and we also wanted our guests to feel like they were taken care of and thoroughly entertained along the way. Covent Garden String Quartet played beautiful classical music as the guests were arriving as well as during the ceremony. They continued with a more contemporary feel for the cocktail hour with string versions of chart favourites while the guests sipped on bubbly and enjoyed canapés in the sun. For the cocktail hour, we also hired a closeup magician to mingle among the guests and keep them entertained while we were away doing our portraits. We also had a couple of surprises up our sleeve for the reception. First, we entered the room with a special performance of (I've Had) The Time of My Life from Dirty Dancing - lift and all. We then got inspired to run the reception like an old-school dinner-dance. So we had a Sinatra singer come and sing live during parts of the dinner so guests (and us) could take turns dancing and eating. This was one of the favourite features and we've heard so much great feedback from our guests about this afterwards. And finally, to round the night off we had a chocolate fountain with fresh fruits that the guests could tuck into in between strutting their stuff on the dance floor.

Emma & Martin

Froyle Park Wedding

From the handmade stationery through to the acrylic signs and incredible all-white flowers by White Lilac Flowers, every element was chosen to beautifully complement this sophisticated Froyle Park wedding. The country estate in Hampshire includes an outdoor dome where Emma and Martin said I do in front of their family and friends before toasting their marriage with a champagne tower. Emma looked incredible in an off the shoulder Mori Lee wedding dress which she chose with her mum in Sweeden, even bringing Martin to tears as she walked down the aisle towards him. What a moment.

Inspiration & Styling

We wanted our wedding to be really bright and airy, with white decor, flowers, and touches of fresh greenery. We wanted the day to have a really dreamy feel so all the decorations were white, the flowers were white, and the bridesmaid's dresses were white. For the tables, we had tall statement centrepieces with white flowers and lots and lots of lush greenery. We wanted there to be flowers everywhere you looked, and one of our favourite parts of decoration was the dome at the outside ceremony which our florists had decorated with wisteria, orchids, and beautiful leafy greenery all down the pillars. It created such a beautiful frame for the ceremony.
